Cured the leaking cistern
Didn’t need the smaller donut as the original fitting only had the larger foam ring fitted,replaced it with like for like,used the new bolts and wing nuts with new rubber washers,job done.

Fix the leak well
I replaced all the washers of the leaking toilet cistern and stopped the leak. The doughnut and the big ring cushions are quite thick. They compressed a bit after installation and I have to re-tighten the bolts the day after to ensure that they are not loosen. At the end, it works very well

A diagram would have been useful. Steel washers deformed with moderate tension on bolts. The usual CHINESE toffee steel I assume. I had to use washers from the fittings I already had.
