Like it so far! Works great
I bought this to put some furniture together and have been pleasantly surprised with its quality. How did I ever use a screw driver that didn’t have a light? This one makes it so much easier! I took pictures to show the light. Also it’ll tell you if you’re near a live circuit which is handy. It has a holder for all the hits and even adds an extender for tight spots. It took a charge quickly and had all the power I needed. It all fit into a little zip bag I had and now I’m all set. Time to order my ikea furniture! (Just kidding I’m not doing that. It’ll be from Amazon, natch) Hoghly recommend!

Disappointed, but hopeful.... and now satisfied.
** I am changing my rating... I left the driver on the charger overnight, well past when it indicated that it was fully charged. This morning I tried it, and there was a big difference in the amount of overall torque and performance. This driver had no problem sending a 3 inch deck screw in to a 2x4 all the way in. It also had no problem taking the screw back out, although I did have to give it a little help getting it started out, and then it took over from there. It's a powered screw driver, not a drill driver so don't expect it to have the same power, torque or ability of a drill driver, or impact driver. For small projects this is great. I do want to apologize to SKIL for the initial review, my only complaint now, and be it a minor one, the charged/charging indicator cannot be trusted. Other than that, this is another quality product from SKIL ... good job, guys.Pretty much all of my tools are SKIL, which is why it pains me to not be able to give this a full five stars. On a full charge it failed to back out a screw that with just a little effort I was able to break loose by hand, then it seemed to struggle to get it out of sheet metal. The bits are great, and the live wire locator works great... but to get out a screw that was not stuck, it failed. There is always a chance I just ended up with a bad one, it does happen from time to time. I am going to test it on a few things and see if I am just expecting too much, or the tool is not up to the high standard I have come to expect from SKIL. But for right now, I am not happy.

Trust the reviews
Trust the reviews on this product. I recently had to replace my old powered screwdriver and this fits the bill perfectly. It seems to be the perfect weight and form factor. Very good bill quality and super easy to use. The battery life is phenomenal and the speed control is beyond anything I've ever seen on a tool like this.I probably used this on 50 projects since I bought it, and I've been pleasantly surprised each and every time I've used it. The reviews that talk about how great the screwdriver is are absolutely true. Works with all my bits that I already had and of course the kid that it comes with is of high quality.Trust the reviews that you read here. They are absolutely right and true.

No speed control, not USB-C
This is a decent cordless screwdriver. The built-in pair of lights work very well. They shine a pretty substantial amount of light into the work area. The ability to push a button and detect current is quite a bit handier than I expected. When I had originally read the product description and reviews, I thought that there was a collar that you turn one way and then press a button to go forward, and then turn the collar the other way and then press a button and it would go backwards. That's not how this works. By turning the collar one way, you cause the screwdriver to turn one way, and by turning the collar the other way you cause the screwdriver to turn the other way.I knew it was micro USB and not USB-C, but I was willing to sacrifice the convenience of USB-C because of it's ability to detect current. Speaking of which, it does a really good job detecting current basically just as good as every other inductive current detector on the market, and when it detects current, the battery charging light illuminates red and it makes a loud beeping sound. The only moderately disappointing thing about this screwdriver is that it has no speed control, neither as a button setting nor if you turn the collar more or less. When you rotate the collar the screwdriver goes full on. This matters quite a bit when trying to keep from stripping the screw you're working on.In terms of torque, it does a reasonable job. I can't stop it with my hands no matter how hard I try, and I haven't yet run into a scenario where it runs out of torque when working on a project. It only charges at 4W, which was a fair surprise. This means that charging the 1.5Ah battery takes quite a while. Though, a battery that size also means that it will take a while before running out of power. Just FYI you cannot operate the screwdriver while the battery is charging, even if the internal battery is full. Also, in case it wasn't obvious, the battery is sealed within the unit and cannot be removed. So if you have a large project, make sure the unit is charged fully before beginning or else you may have quite a long wait in the middle. The choice of bits is fairly strange for a device like this. There are quite a few exotic bits, like triangle bits and security Torx bits, and only a few normal bits like Phillips or Slotted, and no Phillips #3, which I thought was an odd decision. They are conveniently labeled, however, so that's a plus, though sometimes the marks miss the flat edge where they are printed by a smidge.Anyway, hope that helps.

Seems reliable, purchased two so far.
Great product, I've purchased two so far. Small, compact, and works really well. Just be careful applying too much torque when manually turning or tightening screws. Nothing has broken yet, but I do hear some concerning gear noises when doing this. Overall, great electric screw-driver for minor - low torque applications.

Already my handiest tool
The media could not be loaded. I’d only used it for a few electrical boxes. Already love it. Especially for tight spaces. Ambidextrous makes it very handy. The screwdriver set locks into place which is handy. Bright light. Easy controls and functionality. can very easily be used one handed, that is primarily how I use it. I don’t get some of these idiot reviews saying that it cannot be used with one hand. Even with one finger it’s able to be operated.Update: I’ve worked on about 40 junction boxes, with the zero sign that the battery was dying.
