So Far, So Good...
I've researched this herb's natural antibacterial properties. This is the reason I bought it in the first place and I'm very pleased with the results thus far. Will do an update after a few more weeks.

This bag contains lots of product, it's well cleaned & fresh & offered at a resonable price.
I have been disappointed with other natural products like this that arrive stale and full of dirt. While this had a very small amount of grit, this seems to have been well sifted & fresh I am excited to make the tea tonight. It is very good for bladder infections.

I drink this every day
I boil 12 cups of water, then when boiling I add 1 tbs of tea per 2 cups of water (you can use 1 tbs per 2 cups of water) I boil it for 5 minutes and then cover the pot, lower the heat to it's lowest temp and then simmer it for 15 minutes. I have enough for a few days, I sometimes reheat it or drink it cold. I love this tea. I also add cinnamon tea to it when I am making it. Cinnamon is a super food.

Good product. Packaging could be better.
This is a good product, proper taste and good value.Only important thing that I do not like for a large bag like this is that it does not come with a resealable air tight bag, so I had to invest in some big mason jars to store it after opening the bag it came in.

Most wonderful!
I make a lot of herbal teas, and Pau D'arco Bark is a great addition to my daily routine. I just added a tablespoon to my signature ice tea. 10 black tea bags, hand full of hibiscus flowers, 1 tablespoon each dehydrated Cara Cara orange peels, honeysuckle, rose pedal, leaves and hips, goldenrod.. all dehydrated and powder. Steeped in 180°f or just before boiling water until cool, mix in sweetener and top off a 1 gallon tea jug refrigerator over night before using to marry all the favorite, I add lemon juice, elderberry and homemade apple cider vinegar to a quart jar top adjust sweeten and top off with herbal ice tea and enjoy throughout the day. I don't drink any manufacture drinks, due to my T2 diabetes and IBD/UC.

Tastes Good!
I use this for health reasons & I have a tea infuser ball & an OXO metal tea infuser basket which makes using this tea easier. The basket works the best in my opinion. You will get some bark in your tea, but I'm drinking this for health, so the little amount of bark I eat (drink) is not bad (for me). If you hate any amount of tea particles in your tea, you may be disappointed. I have never found a loose tea or tea ball or basket that gets all the particles out though. I like the taste. It is stronger than Pau D'Arco tea bags & you can adjust the amount you use if you really want a strong taste. I also like Dandelion tea, those earthier tasting teas, if that helps with what this would taste like. Dandelion tea is earthier in my opinion. This is just a nice subtle earthy tea.

Awesome product! Exactly what I wanted and delivered fast!
So, this Pau D'Arco came in a large mylar/foil package and NOT in a wrapped paper package as depicted in the picture. It would be nice if when they went to the trouble of mylar/foil packaging they would have made it a zip-loc type.... but, it's not a huge issue. Just be careful when you first open it so you don't spill a bunch. The product is certainly "cut & sifted", so if you are familiar with that terminology you know what you are getting. There is a lot of "powder" but a vast majority of the content is shredded bark. I, too, believe this to absolutely be Pau D'Arco and it brews/steeps very well in the cut & sifted form. You want to be sure to bring your water to a decent boil and either pour over or add your Pau D'Arco and LET IT STEEP FOR A LONG TIME.The taste is a nice, mild woodsy taste that does remind you of sassafras root. I've included this in a protocol I am using to help my cat with an osteosarcoma. I make a REALLY concentrated form of the tea and use a dropper to put it in her mouth. She actually loves it... and she'll sip the regular strength "iced tea" version straight from my glass when I'm not looking. :)As for human consumption, it makes a great tea, either hot or cold!
