The Brush Worked As Advertised
I ordered this sturdy brush to cleans a few black algae spots in my pool that my regular brush couldn’t clean. This wired brush excelled as advertised. It took care of the spots and has remained durable. It was delivered quickly and was worth the price which was quite affordable. I was happy with the purchase.

Easy to use brush, effective at scrubbing algae
I bought this after my large nylon brush couldn't get all the algae off of the corners of my pool.My pool has many curves so there are some hard to reach places....Considering that the algae got caked in, I went for something stronger than Nylon.I read around about these brushes falling apart (not this specific model though) and I took a chance with this one since the price is low.But I am happy to say that it doesn't fall apart even under a heavy amount of brushing.I've used it 3 times now to remove almost every possible algae stain from my pool. For the price its a definite recommendation, just make sure you have a concrete pool since I read that these cannot be used on Vinyl

Cheap, requires duct tape, will work* Updated review*
* UPDATED REVIEW: ok, everything I wrote below is true. However, with two more unfortunate algae issues, this brush is still working well. The tape (gorilla brand) is still holding up and no bristles in the pool. So far, no issues with the metal bristles falling out. The nipples/pegs that hold the brush in the pole need a re-design. Because the nipple mechanism is so flimsy and the nipples so short, the brush continually falls out of the pole. To the bottom of the pool. Fortunately, I had a spare pole. I had to duct tape the brush to the pole. It did remove the algae.

Doesn’t work great
Not heavy duty. Small and doesn’t brush well. Stick to the plastic bristles.

Sturdy and efficient pool brush
This little brush is a replacement for one that I have had for years... it is exactly what I needed and it works well to clear the pool sides of algae, which easily brushes away with the steel bristles. Great find for the price, and I am happy I found it on Amazon, rather than a tedious trip to a pool supply store.

Cheaply made
Yes it's only $8, but only one use and the bristles started to fray, pay a little more for a different one would be my suggestion.

Used it for the first time/Worked great
I had algae stains on the sides of my gunite pool/spa that I had trouble getting off. I used it as soon as I received it. It worked great. I will follow up later to see how long it will last.
