A Must For Forensic or Scientific Photography
I work frequently with a private investigator and we both got a set. Great for really documenting details in photos. A little small, but still effective.

Perfect for larger injuries but a tad more flimsy than it's smaller counterparts.

Very sturdy and easy to disinfect with 10%bleach and 70%ethanol.
Very sharp edges/corners so bel careful when handling.

Appearance is deceptive
In today's world, appearance is everything and as stated in other reviews, the main photos appear to imply that two scales are being purchased.I'm considering returning the item due to the deceptive imaging. I thought I was ordering two scales, and $23 is too much for one.

accurate, maybe overpriced
Ruler is accurate and helpful... Kinda flimsy plastic. I was going to see if i could bend it to see how easy it is- but i don't want to put a crease/fold in it.I use this for close up photo documentation of books, etc.It feels safe in my studio.If i were to throw it in my bag to shoot something on location- it would probably get damaged and not lay flat. If i carefully tuck it in a larger book i'm bringing, i'll feel safe traveling with it.your mileage may vary

low quality, poor tolernaces
Scale isn't shipped in a bag, so it will get scuffed up. Accurancy is maybe 1/16th of an inch tops as the printing doesn't really line up with how the plastic is cut. The diameter of the reference circles aren't marked and are likely metric.Overall, nice try, but overpriced by far.
