Great Bike at a good price!
Easy to put together and get on the road. Only adjusting the brakes took me some time. Like the gear selection and it works smoothly. Will probably change the seat out later but that's a matter of preference.Overall a great bike!

BUYER BEWARE
DO NOT BUY!!!! A huge waste of money. The bike is so poorly made. We are only in April, this bike was a Christmas gift, so my son has only had it for 4 months, and at least 2.5 of these 4 months have been raining. So to get technical, he’s maybe gotten a full month out of riding this bike. We have had to replace literally everything on it, from the brakes, to the kickstand, to the entire unit that the chain sits on (I forget what it’s called), the tires, every single thing you can think of, we’ve replaced. The bike shop said it was poorly made. I thought Huffy was a good choice as it’s a known name that has been around forever, but I thought wrong. We have spent probably triple at this point in replacements, than we paid for the bike itself. Had I known we were going to have a new, extremely costly issue every week, we would have just purchased a new bike!! We were past the return window by the time it started having issues, but we couldn’t return if we wanted to, bc my son is only 8 years old and still believes in Santa, so we can’t just ship it back to the North Pole!! We got my older son the same bike, just a bigger size, and that one is just as big of a POS as this one. I can only write one review for both bikes, but basically all of the same COSTLY ISSUES. Unbelievable!!! Save your time, money and disappointment and go with ANY other brand. So upsetting!!!!

Works as good as any cheap bike should
I bought an open box example of this bike and it works as good as any cheap bike should. Some assembly is required, but bikes are painfully easy to work on. The grip shifters that come with this bike aren't great, but you can upgrade them to a better shifter set for around $20-$40. This upgrade and a better seat will make your $200 bike feel like a $800 bike.

Great value if it’s on sale
For someone that does casual biking, this thing is awesome. I got it on sale and it’s amazing on gravel and pavement, so far that’s all I’ve tried it on but it handles likes champ. I used to be a bike builder so putting it together was extremely straight-forward, although I put together two of these and both had the pieces for the seat clamp sprawled all over the bottom of the box; very lucky they stayed in the box even with being shipped all the way over to Hawaii. The seat isn’t that comfortable but that’s what to expect from a cheap bike, and you can always swap it out for whatever seat fits what you’ll use it for. Gearing needed to be adjusted just slightly, and works great even on bumpy terrain. I’m about 220 pounds so I tightened up the tail spring a good amount and it glides over bumps, fantastic deal.

bottom bracket is toast.
I purchased it almost two years ago, but my kid used it sporadically until it became the daily commute bike to the school. In other words, after 6 months of real use the bottom bracket (cone and cup type) started to sound like a coffee grinder. I ordered a cartridge type bracket to replace it.

Good reasonable priced bike for kids
Good bicycle for kids. My kids ride everyday to school, and no issue or problem at all. Good priced well made bike.
