Nice low carb alternative.
We love this rice alternative. It is low carb and we find it delicious and filling. I usually add some chicken bouillon to the water for extra flavor. No, it doesn't taste like rice, but is tasty. And since we are keto it provides that extra something rounding out a plate of food that used to have potatoes or rice.

Versatile keto rice
This keto rice is a great staple for low-carb meals. It's pretty neutral in flavor, so it takes on the taste of whatever you cook it with. It's a good alternative to traditional rice for keto dishes.

Best keto friendly product.
Understandably a bit pricey, but a must have when you need a bit of a keto treat. This is the best on the market.

Amazing macros!
I was looking for a protein source to use in a taco casserole and came across this brand! It cooks, tastes and has the texture of normal rice, but adds incredible nutritional value. The instructions are easy to follow if cooking on its own, but I just threw it into my casserole to cook. I would highly recommend to anyone trying to make easy substitutes to hit their protein goals. My boyfriend is picky and even liked this!

Zero taste - mushy texture. Blech.
I had such high hopes for this low carb rice and sadly, after cooking with it twice, even caramelizing onions and using chicken broth, the texture is very undesirable. It's a combination between paste and overcooked guck. Texture is terrible , taste is lackluster even with items added to help support some level of flavor. Now I understand why they sell it only in packs of three. My guess is if you bought it in a single pack, you'd never buy it again. I have 2 more bags of the rice and three boxes of the pasta. I'm putting them on my condo swap shelf. Won't waste any more of my time and energy trying to make this product taste edible.

Good low carb rice alternative
Directions on rice package not super clear. I used water once the first time and didn't like the texture or flavor. I used chicken stock and more liquid the second time and it was very good! I bought another rice packet and found a recipe to make a asparagus risotto, super good! We bought the pastas and look forward to trying those! Great alternative to increase protein and decrease carbs over traditional rice.

Actually FIRE!!!
Great taste, texture, and product all around! It didn’t take long to cook it though, I did cook it longer than the package called for. I was REALLY impressed with this pasta. Even though it is expensive, it’s the best I’ve ever tried! Delicious!

OK, if not expecting rice
This product is pricey. I paid a little over $10 a bag. You cook it like pasta by boiling, straining and rinsing so I’d say they would have been better off calling it orzo rather than rice. There’s a pretty strong beanie taste so you do need to add a lot of extra flavor to cover it up. Once chewed it goes down like beans. I love the nutrition with 20g protein and 15g fiber but won’t be purchasing again at the price point (not even sure I’d pay half) To me it’s a new type of food to add to your diet but not an adequate replacement for the role that rice plays in a recipe.
