comfortable, well built controller (a steal at $30)
I purchased this controller because I wanted a wireless controller to take with me outside of the house. I have the wired Logitech controller and figured this would be a good option. Personally I like the PlayStation button layout and this is one of the only wireless controllers with that layout. In my experience so far, it has been great. The buttons are durable, but not too sticky or loud. The triggers feels nice and work as expected. It is heavier than the wired version, but still light enough to hold comfortably. I do want to point out this uses AA batteries instead of a charger. The receiver works well and latency has not been a problem. It also comes with a USB extension cable for the receiver which isn't really necessary in my opinion, but it is nice to have. It feels well built and durable and at the price I got it ($30), it exceeds expectations.

Great Controller
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great item as I wanted to test a wireless controller for some older games I play on PC, controller works great, battery life is pretty good and so far I haven't had any issues.

One of the best XInput controllers, if you don't mind a crappy receiver
It's no secret that the F710 has a crappy wireless receiver. It gets at best 10 feet of uninterrupted range before it starts having issues. But if you can deal with that (and there are a few ways you can get around the problem, like using the included USB extension cable), this is, in my humble opinion, one of the best XInput controllers on the market. It has excellent ergonomics and a button/stick layout that's very familiar to PlayStation players. I personally have always preferred the PS-style stick layout, with the D-pad at the top and the left stick opposite the right one. If that's your preferred layout, this is the controller for you, end of story. The analog sticks and shoulder buttons have excellent accuracy. There are very minor "dead zones" at each of the cardinal directions on both sticks, but as with most XInput controllers, this is by design and actually helps with accuracy. Its tendency to snap to cardinal directions does not interfere with accurate stick movement at all, in my experience, as it does with some cheaper controllers that have extremely aggressive snapping with inaccurate stick movement. Plug this into a XInput tester and you should see smooth movement all the way around (with just the slightest bias towards "neutral" values as mentioned above).Similarly the R2/L2 buttons are excellent. They are significantly stiffer than your typical XInput controller, so this takes some getting used to, but once you get the feel for it, they are extremely accurate, and as long as you hold your finger steady, the value your button reports to the game should remain consistent, extremely useful if you use this for racing games or any game that utilizes the pressure value on your L2/R2 buttonsAlso, the controller is pretty durable. Unless you're literally throwing it at a wall, the physical components will last you forever, or at least until something on the inside stops working. The buttons and sticks are built to last and can withstand heavy use with relatively little wear & tear. That said, they don't last forever. Expect to replace it in 3-4 years if you use it heavily. I've owned a couple F310s and F710s, and so far the ones that have broken on me have either experienced wear on the shoulder buttons (R1/L1) to the point that they stop sensing presses, or have experienced wear on the joysticks to the point where the sensors stop making good contact and no longer report accurate stick values, resulting in jittery movement. In both cases, those controllers lasted me a good 3+ years before giving up on me, so I consider the investment well worth it.The only thing I knock a star off for is the aforementioned crappy receiver. If Logitech ever got around to fixing that, this would be an easy 5-stars, no questions asked.

Solid controller, after a bit of setup
After years of use and abuse, my F510's left stick finishing came apart and now feels weird in the hand, so I decided to give wireless a go.Reading the multiple reviews stating problems with windows 10, I decided to give it a go and see what all the problems are, I am a systems admin by trade after all... low and behold, I plugged in the nano receiver to a front usb, removed the battery sticker and the remote was up and playing madden 21 (yes, I know) within seconds. No problems with windows 10, shows right up under devices. For some reason the logitech gaming software I use for my mouse doesn't show this device AND the nano receiver for the mouse won't pickup the controller, kind of makes the point of "universal" nano receivers a bust as I need them both plugged in to separate usb ports. Now the one issue I had to tackle, the range... AWFUL! I am literally seated two feet away and at same height from my gaming pc box, with the receiver in the front and this thing lags, doesn't recognize most double clicks and drops connection, that's just piss poor. I finally figured out what the usb wire extender was in the box for, lol. I ran the extender from the box, under my keyboard and directly in front of me with the nano receiver on it, now BAM remote is no longer laggy and behaves just like the F510, except heavier (rechargeable batteries help out alot here instead of the included duracells) and without the wires and with much weaker vibration. For 30 bones you can't go wrong here. --> awGuru.comPros -> Wireless, no setup required, seems durable as alwaysCons -> Laggy if not setup as above, weak vibration compared to F510
