I bought this phone and can't describe how much I regret it.The hardware sounded tempting, and on paper, should be sufficiently fast, but the software is gruesome.Not only is the phone bloated with unnecessary apps, which can't be removed and keep bugging you with popups, they slow down the phone and drain the battery.Even worse, Xiaomi has the audacity to keep pestering you with "security" warnings whenever you do something Big Brother doesn't approve, e.g. turn on Unknown Sources or USB debugging.For example, to be able to install apps over USB, they force you to create a Xiaomi account, why?These warnings also can't be disabled.The final straw was that the phone can't be unlocked easily. You'll have to throw yourself at the mercy of Xiaomi and BEG them for their blessing, which takes weeks or months and requires a Xiaomi account, a SIM card, a mandatory waiting period and other cr*p.They throw so many unnecessary roadblocks in the way, it's ridiculous.Lesson learned, never buy Xiaomi again.
