Great!
I bought this for hiking in Washington State. Luckily I didn’t have to use it but I did try it out and WOW that is loud! I’m sure it would work good for a bear encounter. It’s also super small so it fits great in a backpack and doesn’t take up too much room

Does its job very well. The horn is super loud to scare off coyotes, hawks, bats, and bobcats. Great protection to keep wildlife and perverts away. I definitely recommend and will buy again. The size is perfect to fit in your pocket or handbag.

Haven't had to use it in any dangerous situations yet but have tested it and it definitely works! Very very loud and it fits into my backpack strap no problem due to how small it is. It is super light as well so it doesnt add much to your pack weight. Better safe than sorry! Get one you never know when you might need it when you are backpacking. Great bang for your buck!
