Hawke Nature-Trek 8x42 Monocular - Green

Better than binoculars as fits in your handbag and this is just such a great product.

Having used binoculars over many years, takes time to get used to it. However being much lighter and pocket size is a compromised advantage.

Simply fabulous. I was looking for something lightweight that I could hang round my neck when I was photographing birds and this fitted the bill. I find it easier to use than the 10*25 that usually lives my glove box. It's bigger and heaveir than that of course. And it's not perfect - a spot of chromatic aberration is visible looking at birds perched on telephone wires. But it does the job perfectly, allowing me to enjoy watching birds when I put my camera down. At around. £75, it was a terrific bargain. I'd recommend it to anyone.I've given it five stars for picture quality but don't think that means it's perfect. It certainly doesn't compete with a borrowed Swarovski that cost way, way more than £75.:But at this price point. I think it's excellent.

It seems to be well made. I write this review after limited use but the vision is clear easy to hold, a good fit and weight so I'm happy with the purchase
