Neat and good value

I am impressed with this, the tape function is a bit fiddly but all the other functions are great. I have a collection of 78rpm records which I can now play .It is not HiFi but at the price gives very acceptable results. Well worth the money.

Great unit

I actually love it. My vinyl sounds great! The only annoyance is that 'auto stop' cuts the ending of 7 inch vinyls...I could switch it off but that will create more wear on the needle. Great for the money, but only 4 stars because of the auto stop annoyance

Reasonable cost, reasonable quality. Does for my needs.

I agree with some of the previous posts. This is a decently priced reasonable music system. I wouldn't call it hi-fi, the sound is as good as you can expect for this price. It can rattle and hum a bit when you first start the cd in particular and I don't leave it plugged in when not in use. I have got value for my money out of it. Dug out some old vinyl and cd's. Does what I need it to

Such A Useful All-in-one

The media could not be loaded. I am delighted with this piece of kit. A vinyl player (including 33/45/78 speeds), AM/FM radio, a cassette player, has an AUX socket, an SD card slot, a CD player AND Bluetooth. You can also record your records or tapes onto an SD card or other device. I haven't tried that yet but the instructions are all simple to read and understand. Sound is great from the speakers, plenty loud enough for me with no distortion. The Bluetooth connects to my phone in seconds each time I use it as well. The remote comes in very handy, too, though it IS quicker to turn the volume up and down by turning the knob. Sometimes the old ways are just the easiest !! It takes up very little space and I am so happy I will now be able to unearth all my albums from my "cupboard of doom" and transfer them all across to play on my phone and in the car as well. SUCH a reasonable price as well for all it offers. Others I looked at missed off Bluetooth or didn't have the CD player or only a 2-speed turntable or the cassette player so what's not to like ?? I highly recommend it. It's got the lot.Sorry the video isn't terrific....tricky filming and fiddling at the same time but you get the idea, I hope !

A Disaster .

I had hoped to have a music centre which would play some of my old LP's, as well as my CD's. I had no trouble with connecting it up and using the radio and I was happy with the sound quality. But the CD player simply made a noise as of the disc going round and round. I spent 2 days trying different discs but the only one that produced music was one of Scarlatti sonatas. In the breaks I tried to set up the turntable so that I could at least have some music. The elastic band had come loose. I read the "simple" instructions on how to re-connect the band. The "two pillars" referred to in the instructions, which are to be used for correct placing of the band, turned out to be two tiny plastic sticks, not more than 2 - 3 mm tall, in black plastic (and so difficult to see against the black plastic of the underside of the turntable, and even more difficult to hold with the band in place). Once in place around these "pillars", the turntable had to be turned right way up, replaced on the centre spike of the turntable, and then the band placed round the metal pillar in the base of the turntable. After several hours of effort I achieved this at the cost of a nasty scratch on my hand from the plastic insides and a turntable which was still uneven. The manufacturers admitted that the machine was "defective", and I have returned it. I cannot believe that a machine can be offered for sale in a defective state which should have been noted before it left the factory. Nor can I believe that a machine which is meant for export would have a component which is not only likely to need serious adjustment on receipt but is also so badly designed as to make it as difficult as possible to carry out the required adjustment.Amazon Returns Department was very helpful, although Customer Services' advice of "keep trying different C D's" was not!Given the varied ratings supplied to Amazon for different machines and provided on the web-site, I am now at a loss as to what to do next, as none seem wholly satisfactory.

Very good for the money

Love it. Vinyl sounds great. I've tried all on this. Tapes sound good but the position of the tape deck at the side is strange. Also my remote started to fail. I've tried to contact this company but going around in circles. All Amazon want to do is for me to return it when I just need a new remoteBesides that, wouldn't change

OK system, but not the best

Good points: It can record from mostly anything. Nice and compact, fairly good sound from the small speakers. The turntable is OK, but could do with an upgraded stylus. At least it can play 78s, which is rare these days. CD works well. Bluetooth is easy to set up and sounds good too. The FM/AM radio is OK but cannot pick up many stations despite the attached aerial. You can only play files on the USB/SD if they are in the REC folder, no idea why it says folder + and – for!!Bad points: The cassette player is rubbish, no controls except Fast Forward and eject, it auto-plays when you insert a tape and by the time you have pressed the buttons to record, the music has already started! (Best to use the Aux in if you want to record tapes) When recording it’s a bit of a faff, having to press button after button and then sometimes it fails to record, but you don’t know this until you switch to USB/SD playback or take out the USB/SD and check on PC. Very short speaker and power leads. No graphics equaliser, tone etc. No DAB

Perfect for a small room

I read a lot of online reviews outside of Amazon, and this appears in most reviews with good feedback, as with all things there are pros and cons. We wanted to digitise our vinyl collection, but want a radio and cd. The only downside is that it digitised the lp as one file, so each album is two files, but I can live with that and may look for some software to break it down per track. This is not our main record player, so we will only play the lp's once to digitise, (I have a separate turntable and amp, never fully bought into the digital world!). The cd works well, that was one of the potential 'cons', as does the radio.
