High Quality Parts, Easy to Clean & Operate, GREAT PRICE
This pitcher is a great investment and a very straight forward no frills approach if you want to make your own cold brew at home and save some money! The stainless steel mesh grounds basket is well made and comes with its own cleaning brush. The pitcher has two lids, one with a handle, made out of heavy plastic. The pitcher itself is heavy glass, not cheap, and holds 64 fl oz.HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN COLD BREW AT HOME(Like Starbucks OR Like Dunkin)1. Choose a DARK ROAST pound of WHOLE BEAN coffee.2. Grind the entire lb of coffee on the COARSE setting ONLY!3. Place 1/2 lb of coarse grounds into stainless steel mesh, place mesh into empty pitcher. Do NOT compress the ground coffee into the filter, just pour in the grounds until the filter is full.4. Slowly fill the pitcher with cold/tap/lukewarm/filtered water, making sure the water steeps THROUGH the coffee grounds and into the pitcher. You want ALL of the grounds to be wet. Do NOT just put your mesh basket full of dry grounds into a full pitcher of cold water!!5. After the pitcher is full, Steep for 16 - 20 hours. (16 hours for Dunkin, 20 hours for Starbucks method) You will see the brew getting darker the longer it steeps.DUNKIN vs Starbucks:Dunkin’ immediately places the steeping cold brew into the fridge and allows it to steep.Starbucks method the steeping cold brew should sit out on the counter in regular 72’ etc environment.6. After the coarse grounds have steeped for your desired/chosen amount of time, remove the grounds from the pitcher, allowing the mesh filter to drip/drain all the cold brew into the pitcher.7. Yield is approx 5-8 cups of cold brew8. Refrigerate your brew. BOTH companies refrigerate the cold brew after it has steeped for up to 7 days. Cold Brew older than 7 days should be discarded as it is considered to be expired.9. You can choose to dilute the cold brew or not, it is your preference. If you do choose to dilute it, it should be 1:1 water to cold brew.10. Enjoy your cold brew creation!11. For easiest cleaning of mesh filter, allow the grounds to sit out and dry out before attempting to wash the filter. The dry coffee grounds are much easier to clean out of the mesh filter than wet! AVOID allowing grounds into your drain!!I have worked at both companies as a barista, which is how I am familiar with the Dunkin and Starbucks cold brew creation processes. :)This cold brew pitcher has been a fantastic purchase for under $20! I was impressed with the quality of the product all the way around, and it has allowed me to create some amazing cold brew coffee at home and is now a staple in my fridge!I highly suggest this purchase! :)

LOVE IT
I love this, glad I finally got it. The filter is great, hard to clean at the bottom but they give you a brush that works fine. The jar itself is big enough to last for a weak of tea and pretty slim. An XL Mason jar so to speak. The glass is sturdy and can take a boiled pot of water nicely. The handle of the lid is the only thing I wouldn't trust to lift off of by but to pour with. Also, the lid is hard to remove when the glass is cold. I have to let it sit out at room temperature to remove. Value for money it's worth it if you use it. The two lids is a bonus.

Easy to use
It was easy to use and clean and it makes great cold brew. You can use any coffee you like. It was delicious! The price was good and I love the way the lids seal. I wash it and the basket in the dishwasher so it seems durable. Very happy about my purchase.

A lot of work just for coffee
I bought this in hopes of saving money instead of using K-cups. Instructions say to use 2 cups of grounds which takes up a lot of space for the gallon size and is about half the bag of coffee. Using the grounds inside the filter doesn’t make it as strong as I’d like so I put the grounds in the jar and just use the filter to pour into a different gallon size jar. I bought a 6 pack of mason jars because of other reviews that said the glass isn’t as strong as normal mason jars. I brew two gallons at once and once it’s done, I pour into a new jar. Two jars fills up a little over one gallon without the grounds in the jar. Long story short, I don’t know if it’s saving me money. The filter works great, lids are awesome, and it’s a great price. I’m glad it came with two lids. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t leak as long as the seal is in place. It’s a lot of work just for coffee though.

Convenient-less mess- no buying filters. Just the best coffee you enjoy made fresh & your way
Worse just as expected. It's convenient for those of us who have rushed mornings and like to have as few kitchen extras scattering the counters. Plus what you male your coffee in is your coffee cup so less cleanup less mess. & forget about buying filters! Yyaaayyy!

Great option to save money on cold brew!
I use these all of the time. I make cold-brew coffee overnight, and this has been a huge way to save money on that. The filter is holding up well after several months of heavy use. I have separately purchased additional jars this size, so I am able to cycle them out. The handle is sturdy, and I have no safety concerns over it holding the weight of a full jar. I def recommend this for anyone looking to save on cold brew.
