Perfect size, lots of compartments, material is strong. My husband uses for work & he loves it. Also, has phone charger built in.

Pockets for everything, I fit about 40-50lbs worth of carry on items. Pack held up well. The metal cables on the top were a perfect touch, I attached clamps and carried additional 10lbs on the top grab handle alone with no issues, held on the bathroom doors no problem. Secret pocket was great for cash and a hunting knife. The cable for the internal charger came off twice, but i never used it. Seems were well stiched, not loose or frayed material. Iused this for 23 days straight, and two 15 hour flights, through multiple metal dectectors, and xray machines, no issues. Did not have to open the pack all the way for the laptop I held for any of those, they scanned the pack closed as it was. Pictures are accurate for color. Will definitely use this on my next trip.

I like the fact that the handle is actually also wire that’s covered in a thick plastic so it’s not breaking. The zippers seem study . The whole backpack seems sturdy. It feels strong and well-made. My son is a junior in high school and the backpack needs to be able to carry his whole day in it because they don’t even have lockers anymore. Fingers crossed and will update. This backpack fits all of his folders and notebooks and a 1 gallon water bottle. Plus the rest of his things.

I took it on frontier airplanes and had no problems. This backpack is so well built, for the price I would have still kept it if it was too big for a personal item on frontier.

The issue that bugged me has been updated at the bottom of this review.The material on this bag is just as good as a previous Samsonite backpack I gave to someone, except this is more padded and cost less so that's a plus👌.Has a good amount of pockets, but I do wish it had one or two smaller little zipper pockets on the outside front with inner organizational pockets with maybe a zipper mesh pocket inside. That would've been perfect. It's pretty comfortable as far as the straps and parts that connect with your back. The stitching on it is very good. The handle is great quality, I don't feel like it's going to rip on me anytime soon and can hold a good amount of weight. I do wish that the smaller loop for hanging was a little bit bigger, more like my gym backpack little hanging hook, but I don't plan on taking this to the gym, so I guess don't really need to hang it outside the shower like I would that bag. Hanging this on a regular door hook is more what it's for, so I won't knock off anything for that. I like the four compression clips. In addition to compressing the bag, it gives it a bit more secure feel in case you may have thieves that may want to get into your bag, they make it a lot less accessible, plus these do not have locking zippers which would have been great since this is geared as a suitcase replacement. Although because there's little holes in the metal zipper tips you technically could put a lock through the zipper that way but the ones with the little hole at the zipper point are definitely better. The zippers seem pretty decent quality as well.. time will tell..Has a good amount of space when you expand it. The inner materials feel of great quality and you can definitely fit a couple of laptops in there up to the sizes recommended. Good amount of padding on the inside for those items.. I do like the zipper pocket on the back so you can put your important items in there right up against your back which is nice and padded as well. Doesn't have a water bottle pocket on the outside but I knew that when I purchased it. I went through quite a few bags before I came to the conclusion to just get this one. I do wish it had some hook straps on the outside like a traditional backpack so that I could hook my water bottle to it and let it hang, but my water bottle should fit on the inside just fine. Has a very minimalistic design with not a lot of things going on the outside of it which could be a plus or not, depending on your personal taste. Seems like it could pack a good amount of clothing and toiletries on the inside if everything's rolled up nice and tight. I took off a star because the USB cord it comes with is not very good capacity or quality. For instance, when I plug my phone directly to the battery, says hour and a half to full charge but when I plug it into the cheap cord on the inside, it says anywhere 3 hrs to complete charge 😳. That's just unacceptable. How much extra would it have been just to simply add a good quality USB cord on the inside? When backpacks offer USB cord charging connect, they should go for good quality cords or have it made in a way that you can put your own USB cord in the backpack and have it come out the side covered up which actually would be the best option, otherwise don't put a cord in there just to advertise that you have a cord connect. That's what I took off one star for. Hopefully I can figure out a way to remove it and put my own USB cord connect in there. Other than that annoyance, it's a really great backpack for travel and I recommend it especially at this price point.UPDATE: You can actually remove the cheesy USB cord that it comes with and use your own short cord in instead. Granted it doesn't snap in like the one it comes with, so you may have to somehow secure it on the inside of the bag so it doesn't fall out or get pulled through if it's not plugged into your battery on the inside. I have a really good quality cord and I'm thinking about super gluing it in permanently or possibly tie a knot on the inside so it doesn't fall or get pulled through. Plus it will stay hidden under the little cap cover like area it has on the outside of the bag. At any rate it basically fixes the terrible USB cord problem it has.. you will need a USB to USB connector of course unless you want to run a regular cord directly from the battery to your phone and pull it back into the bag each time you're done

Good bag a lot of space

This product is very falsely advertised, it is very poorly made. Very cheap quality zippers, weak seams, extremely thin lining and absolutely no protection for any contents inside. Especially a laptop. Charge port is usb a( useless for any modern device, and just an extension cable not even mounted to the portly Made opening on outside of bag that is in no way protected from elements) straps will break with any weight inside at all, very thin, no cushion support to straps or back of bag. Absorbs moisture instantly and soaks right through inner liner. Very uncomfortable to wear. outside “climbing hook is made of very cheap plastic and will hold nothing with any weight more than a very small plush keychain. This bag would not be sufficient for an elementary student. Product is a disappointment in absolutely every aspect. Very falsely advertised.
