Q: Just had this fitted, I have to hold the push buttons in for it to work as soon as I let go it goes off. Possibly faulty unit ?

Not sure if you press the button with power or just testing the buttons. The button does not recess once pressed. If you have power to the unit and press the button the equipment attached will work, if not then the unit is faulty

Q: what size are the glands on the base? many thanks.

The glands take any cable on pumps, filters and are easy to connect

Q: How do i remove the front of the box to get to the fues please??

You need to PUSH the whole unit upfrom the bottom to release it from the bracket. Then remove the 4x screws on the back.

Hello, we have the power switch on the wall and have wires buried in conduit going to the pond, the pond has a pond clear pump with light and filters that I wash out about twice a week during summer ( in this heat) and maybe once a month in winter weather , also with the switches we have a water feature, and air stones to help the fish breath in the hot weather connected, all work very well. this is out second switch, previous one we had about 14 years. hope this helps you decide
