The media could not be loaded. There are guidance arrows throughout the book, showing you how to draw your numbers. It’s suitable for both left or right handed children as there are different coloured arrows to follow if your child is left handed. Cartoon characters also provide an explanation of what to do.The book doesn’t just focus on writing and recognising numbers. It also tries to get the child to identify how many items are on the page or perhaps asks them to draw something.There are beautiful illustrations and descriptions to engage with the learning process.I love that the book comes with a special ink pen and is wipe clean so that your child can practice over and over again. This will also be useful if you have a second child that you can pass the book onto.This is a great learning tool and an absolute bargain at £4.99. It gets an easy 5 stars from me and my grandchildren!

I showed my 3 year old daughter this book, and she immediately ran down the garden to show it off. She was really excited that it was a book, she could write in, and it was Peppa Pig.She has sat down and stared to draw in the book all on her own (I did say she had to start at the large dots and follow the arrows, but she knows best).There were three downsides I felt to the book,1) The pen is in a plastic enclosure, which you need to open the front cover, then lift up a plastic flap. Unfortunately she doesn't listen and tries to pull the whole of the plastic off. Some day she will rip the plastic enclosure out of the book2) Which might not be a bad thing, because the plastic enclosure goes through the front of the book, making it not sit flat when you put it down on a table and try to write on the even pages.3) The pen wasn't really as dark as I would like it to beThe pen easily rubs off (it seems closing the book might be enough), and it means that the book can be done multiple times.My daughter is only 3, and can't read, so she can guess at what she is meant to do, but obviously in some places she doesn't get it right. This is a book that an adult will need to help along with for the child to get the full benefit.

This is a Peppa Pig book with a difference, rather than just a bog standard read along, which are great by the way, this book encourages your child to count from 0-20 in an interesting way.Each page builds up the number count gradually starting from 0 and going up to 20, encouraging kids to draw around the number and also recognise them too. I personally feel this is a great and clever way to introduce your child to numbers. I like the fact that the book is a wipe clean book, so rather than it only being able to be used once, you can clean away the tracing and numbers each time and do them again.All in all, I think this is a great book that encourages younger kids to get familiar around numbers and help them learn how to write them down as well.

This is a very good counting book for preschoolers. Mt daughter is 3.5 and likes learning numbers. This book has pages that you can use the marker on and then wipe them clean to do them again, allowing for practice. The difficulty increases as the book progresses. There's different activities to do relating to numbers, such as tracing, counting, circling the right number of items etc. It is quite engaging and fun.The marker is a light blue and it wipes immediately with the little sponge it comes with. The marker stores back in the pouch on the first page. This is the only con we found, the pouch is placed in an awkward place so when you write on the left side of any page it is a bit tricky as the pouch doesn't allow the pages on the left to sit fully flat. You can remove the pouch and store the marker elsewhere.Overall a good book.
