I bought this ladder because it had good reviews . I read some of the poor reviews but surprisingly they related mostly to an entirely different product a wireless door bell.! Some people found the ladder flimsy which I feel is unfair. Of course there is some compromise because it is made up of many sections but I was pleased by the quality of the construction and materials. The stabiliser bar which attaches to the feet adds sideways support which I discovered was lacking in some competitors products so that is a bonus. Personally I think if using a ladder at some height someone should be below to add stability. Overall for domestic use I’m satisfied.

This is an ideal item to have especially if short of storage space. When fully closed it easily fits inside a hall cupboard.I bought this to access the attic with ease and this certainly does the job.I like that you do not have to fully extend this to use it and can adjust extend it to the height you need. I was debating between the 3.2 or 3.8 m and eventually chose the 3.8 because you did not have to fully extend.It does advise not to stand on the top 3 rungs, so it is worth getting a slightly longer one.The hooks easily clip in and out and manoeuvre themselves out of the way if leant against a flat surface.I was surprised at how sturdy these were and although not too bad to carry, were heavier than expected. This to me was a good thing.I also liked this particular product because there is a bar across the bottom of the feet, which I feel is a safer option. The bottom feet have good grippers on and didn't slip on the wooden floor when I used to access the attic.You MUST remember when retracting the rungs to click one side first then the other keeping your fingers out of the way as they do drop down quite quickly. Each rung has to be retracted individually and gets easier to manage safely with practice.I am very pleased with this item and the speed they arrived.I am so glad I came across these as they have made a few tasks so much easier to manage than it would have with traditional ladders.Highly recommend to have a set of these ladders as they are so easy to store and move about.

I've used it once, seems ok but think I needed one that was slightly taller but that's my mistake. Reason for 4 stars, I couldn't remember ne side of the ladder to fit on the balance bar and had to gently hammer it in which has left dents so can't return.

Very strong and a brilliant ladder, compact to store in a small space.

Ladder arrived today and got it out to check it would be big enough for decorating my hallway. The ladder itself is fine - it does flex but all extendable ladders do. However, the bolts which came with the stability bar were two different lengths. One fit - just - the other is way too short. Luckily, I never throw anything out and I had two longer bolts that are fine. Final thing are the hooks that come with the ladders - I would only use those as a very last resort and would not be wildly comfortable!So all in all probably just about worth what I paid but the bolts and hooks do make you question the overall quality which is a pity.
