when the uk especially the north had a cold snap into the new year of 2025, i decided to order some snow spikes as thought it would be sensible, seeing as Im on the move most days working for Asda, Home Delivering. these have been my saviours, they claw grip into the snow and you’re going nowhere, you won’t find yourself slipping and sliding ending up on your back end. Very happy with these, easy to put on under the sole of your shoe. i have size 11 feet and XL grips fit perfectly. just for reference. excellent value for money can’t knock the price tag. built well, made to last and gives you that extra peace of mind and confidence when out and about in that lethal snow and ice. No issues with comfort, just sounds like you’re walking in football boots which is no biggie for me. Excellent, very happy.

After slipping and smacking my head on the ice I got these not expecting that much to be honest but worth a try, Turns out they are an absolute game changer, easy to fit on my boots and 100% work and give you the confidence to walk "normally" on solid ice footpaths. Took me 35 minutes to walk the mile to work in the morning and 15 mins back home in the evening with these fitted.

Brilliantly grippy shoe covers; they worked really well over trainers on an icy road. They were less helpful when the road turned into a muddy path as they collect leaves. They also won't fit over my wellies which is a shame - the toe cap is too tight and will only work on shoes.

I wasn't sure whether I would need them, but bought them as a precaution, but what a difference they made to walking around Norway in winter. We bought 3 pairs and we all felt so much safer on our feet when walking around. We saw similar available for sale in the shops, and buying them beforehandfrom Amazon in the UK was much, much, much cheaper. Totally recommend.

As a dog walkers of two salukis i need to be safe. These were a game changer. Easy to put on. I'm size 6 I bought medium. I'd suggest large for size 7 upwards. Only because ive a pair of boots that are a large 6 and they dont fit quite as snuggly as my size 6 brogue/trainers. Stayed on my feet, felt confident walking on very slippy pathways. Fantastic buy, will come in very useful in the years to come and I won't dread the ice and snow now.

Initially thought these would be a great help in the ice and snow. Fitted well over boots and first thoughts were promising however during first time use after a short while the ice and snow build up in the round cleats meant they were not as effective causing the odd foot slip. This wasn’t the main problem though as further on the walk one snapped and fell off, shortly followed by the other doing the same. Both rubber straps snapping in the same place on both feet.Would not recommend and not fit for purpose.

Bought these for a winter walking holiday in Austria and they fitted well and provided a good grip on snow and ice. However, one broke on the second day and the other did the same a couple of days later.

Felt much more secure using these. Made a huge difference walking in icy conditions.
