Lovely game to introduce concepts as stated

I bought this toy for my 2yr and 7 month old son as he loves pizza and thought would relate to the concept and play.My intention was to get him to sit together with family or friends and introduce and learn the concept of turn taking primarily along with colors and vocabulary as he is a little impatient and still struggling to identify colors.Quality-Packaging was good, came in the box as in the pics, includes instruction booklet and a promotional booklet for other games too.All the pieces are of good quality cardboard. The spinning needle is made of plastic, does the job.Experience-I ensured that I read the instructions and game rules to understand how its played before introducing it to my son.He got really excited to see the pizza slices as its so colorful we as a family sat together to play with him.I cannot expect him to play the game by the rules, so we introduced him the concept of healthy pizza slices and unhealthy pizza slices(ones with worms), taught him that whenever you get the unhealthy or pizza slices with worms, we need to bin them by directing him to keep it on the bin board.Once he got the concept of binning the wormed slices, we introduced the idea of turning the slices face down and introduced colors. We kept all the slices as per the colors, and asked him to place specific color slices on the pizza board. This helped him get familiar to some colors and I'm sure more playing will help him with the rest as well, following with shape identification. We haven't introduced the concept of spinning the wheel as yet- but will do so in a few months. My son got really excited once his pizza board was full, he would pretend to keep it in an oven to bake it and once ready to serve and eat :), which was cute.I knew that this game has an age group of 3+, but I wanted to introduce the concept of board games along with other elements to my son for a fun family time.A good 30 mins to an hr can be spent playing this game.

Great Family Game for Youngsters

Bought for our 10 yr old grandson and 2&1/2 yr old granddaughter. The 10 yr old hardly got a look in! Our granddaughter had it out at every opportunity "Pizza, Pizza". Great for reinforcing basic colours and shapes and taking turns - and of course those Yucky insect slices "Yucky, Yucky" "In the bin!" Such fun!

Super fun as always!

I love orchard games and have played them many many times not only with my daughter but nieces and nephews. They are so well made and durable, so there's no worries at all about them breaking or splitting or images coming off. They are made to last. This has been a fav with my nephew when he was small so bought this for me and my daughter to play whilst in lockdown. The thing I love about this (and many of the games) is that there are many ways you can play them, you don't have to play by the instructions. My daughter is only 4 and isn't quite ready for winners and losers, so she likes to make her own rules! And these games are so intuitive for children that she can do just that quite easily. The pizza game is brilliant as the 'yucky' element of the bad bits of pizza is hilarious for little ones. My daughter loves finding the pizza bits with the bugs on and shouting about her disgust!A very fun way of children learning fundamentals of turn taking, sharing and game structure.

Recommend!

My 5 year old boy loves this game and plays it 3-4 times a week. It's so simple but the stealing element really makes it fun!

Lots of fun

The whole family, from grandma to 2.5 yo, has loved this game. Funny yucky slices. Daughter covers her eyes each time someone selects a slice. We now have a running game even when we aren't playing it - "do you want spiders/worms/frogs on your pizza?" A great first board game.

Fun family game

This game is easy to play and great fun - teaches colours, shapes and numbers along with taking turns and the dreaded stealing of pieces when you’ve almost completed your pizza - caused some tantrums at first with our little one as he was happy to take pieces from others but not so keen on them being taken from him!Good opportunity to talk about foods & trying new tastes as well.Always a popular game to get out of the toy box in our house.

My kids love this game

This is a fun game to play and my kids never get bored of it. It says 3 to 7 years but even my 8 yr old likes to play it. Super fun game would recommend.
