Very easy to put together, but time consuming. It will go much easier with two, took the better part of an hour and half to do by myself, so it is doable alone. Finished product feels sturdy and very comfortable, but be sure to use a nice thick Mattress as those metal slats will be felt otherwise. I've paid it with a 25cm memory foam mattress and it's as good the pricier options I've had in the past. No squeaks or misaligned pre drilled/cut holes. Supports tha mattress well with no slipping it's a great height with plenty of clearance for storage and it's easy enough to move around should the need arise.For less than 50 quid it's an absolute bargain.

Ordered the king sized version when on sale and at under £70 was very well priced.Comes flat packed and assembly took around the 90 minute mark being done carefully. A slight criticism would be that the threads for the screws are a bit rough at times, so you need to take your time to make sure you don’t cross thread them whilst tightening them up, but aside from that the instructions are clear and there were no missing parts.Once assembled it is very, very sturdy, but not so heavy that it cannot be moved around easily. It’s also transformed the way our mattress feels and it is much better on top of this base than the old one.Appearance is basic and a little industrial with screw heads everywhere, but they are colour coded and don’t stand out. The Matt finish on the black unit feels nice and good quality.Highly recommended. So much so, I will be changing our bed base in our spare room for another one of these.

This is a lovely sturdy bed. It comes flat packed and has to be assembled but don't panic! There are very clear step by step instructions. I am not an avid DIYer but I managed it without problem. Set out the components and read the instructions through a couple of times and you will fly through. It does say it takes two people to put the bed together but I managed it alone. The most difficult part was joining the frame to the headboard and the footboard but if you are alone take your time and use patience and it finally comes together. I really enjoyed putting the bed together and I love the way it looks. Oh and no extra tools required! A spanner and allen key was all that was required and they are both supplied.

Gorgeous bed! Really easy to assemble, all the parts were labeled and bagged individually- only took around 20 minutes for myself to attach it, Perfect size, good quality metal too! Just like the photo on the ad.Will definitely purchase again for when my baby grows out the cot!

Easiest bed I've ever assembled. Done alone (I'm a small woman 😅 ) . It's good on space, had space underneath for storage and sturdy for a metal bed. My son is very happy with it, and it's not squeaky like his old one!

Assembled by 1 person, instructions easy to follow. Bed is perfect, good quality. Looks smart. Feels sturdy.I took away 2 stars as the 4 screws that use a nut on the end seem to be the wrong sizes. The nut only screws a turn or two before stopping, it stays put but the screw itself is loose in the frame - useless. I've been using the bed with no problem, they didn't seem to be super important and I'm a light person. I can manage with it so I won't fuss with returns.
