You don't really need it in nursing school, other than for about a week, but if you're in PA school or medical school you'll get more use out of them. They are fun to use and good quality so I have no regrets about buying a set. Definitely a good value to buy this set rather than individually or in a med supply store. Recommended!

You get what you pay for
Extremely basic supplies for medical students. Lasted throughout school though did not use this hammer on neurology rotations as it is far worse than many other reflex hammers. Only pro is low price and small, easy-to-carry size. Passable for those who never plan to use these tuning forks or reflex hammer in the future.
