Every power tool in the shop that is plugged into a 120 volt outlet should have this product. I wish I would have purchased this product years ago. Now I never run my table saw without the dust collector “on” and it automatically shuts it “off” within 10 seconds after my table saw stops. My shop is definitely quieter and cleaner.

This is such a productivity increaser. Works just as advertised. I have my stationary mitrer saw and an extension cord that i plug into my track saw and other various tools, planer, hand sander. I am planning on getting another one once I finish the garage remodel. works like a charm.

Terrific device!Original review:Great switch for automatically activating a wide variety of power tools when needed. In my case, I use a 40 year old Bosch shop vac with my portable power Miter box and table saw.It’s annoying running back and forth to the Bosch vac to turn it on and off and because the vac is old, it’s loud and annoying.I thought about getting a new shop vac with this sort of a switch built in but some of those switches have very low power handling capacity like 6 amps. Plus my Bosch vac and I have a LONG history together - we’re “connected” and we are both loud and annoying.What I like about this switch:- 15 amp capacity- can plug in two machines that power up the vac when turned on- adjustable delay so don’t blow breakers on machine startup- 2 mounting methods included. I created a 3rd mounting method with the 3/4 inch birch plywoodWhat I don’t like:- wish it had a metal enclosure, not plastic- wish the 110 volt pigtail was a bit longer, like 2 feetAs I mentioned, I added a piece of 3/4” birch plywood to act as a base for this switch to prevent tipping and damage.The plywood base also makes the switch mobile when I’m moving the saws and vac to different locations.Overall, I really like this product. One of the reasons that I don’t own, a battery operated miter saw or tablesaw is because I like the idea of having a vacuum hooked up that will turn on when I pull the trigger on my saw. This thing works flawlessly, and I can’t say enough about it. It’s nice to turn on the saw and the vacuum to kick on and keep you relatively dust free.
