Great Step Ladder.
This thing is a tank! It is built for abuse. I needed a step ladder and this seemed to fit the bill. When it first came in, it surpassed my expectations on quality. I am 6'2" and 280 pounds and have no issues standing on the very top of this step ladder. It is very stable and portable.I highly recommend this ladder.

Always Broken
I purchased two of these ladders for my general contracting business and assumed they would be great ladders since I own several other Little Giant products. Both Sure Step ladders arrived broken at the folding joint at the top of the ladder. I have now gone through six ladders using the return/reorder route and all six ladders have been broken in the same manner. I reached out to Little Giant directly to see if they would replace the last two so I could get a couple of them damage free. Little Giant asked for photos and my shipping address (giving me hope) and then turned around and told me they could not replace the ladders and I should just get a refund from Amazon. Not exactly the customer service I was expecting. I hope Little Giant investigates this issue. There is no way I could receive six ladders over a month time frame, all broken, and there not be a root cause.

Greatness All Around
I’m picky abt design. I’d initially wanted one of those Danish stepladders crafted of white oak, but they’re not actually that practical. While this ladder doesn’t have the looks to install in a living room, it’s still clearly a good ladder that doesn’t look cheap. The joinery or seams of the fiberglass frame are nearly flush and barely visible - the anssembly and materials are top-grade. Functionally it’s solid (absolutely no flex or squeaking), I can open it without having to touch the treads, the treads are deep so I feel safe climbing, and it has a good solid weight without being heavy. The max height allows me to comfortably reach the highest shelves on my 10-foot ceilings. And I am ridiculously pleased that in the closed position, it stands up on its own - what sorcery dis?

AWESOME!
I was so worried it might not arrive. It came one day late with footprints. I'm so happy Amazon took time to wrap it in a plain box. We waited for it on delivery day. It looked like a small refrigerator box. I'll add the lesser known reasons why it's AWESOME. It's double-sided standing for one person or two. Remember those Christmas lights and that tree? That's you hanging it up high. Folded, it's completely self-standing. It didn't fall down even after purposely jiggling from side-to-side. Folded, the highest point is the hinge in the very top step at 28.5 inches tall. Only the fiberglass is non-conductive. The steps are metal - ok, electricians?! It makes a nice seat. It's small enough to fit inside mini-cars and EVs with room to spare. We own a mid-size SUV.At 5ft-4 inches tall, a family member stood flat-footed on the 2nd step and easily placed the palm of her hand flat against the 8-ft ceiling. So, the maximum height rating of 8ft - 8 inches applies to short people. Also, she doesn't weigh anywhere near 375 lbs. (170 kg) which is the max weight. Meanwhile, I don't know anybody 6ft-6 who needs a ladder to reach 8ft-8 inch (2.6M) ceiling. Door frames are 6ft-5. Total ladder thickness is 7.5 inches (20 cm). Can't store this behind any door. The ladder itself weighs about 11 lbs. It's sturdy and "industrial grade." Our little dog weighs 15 lbs., is sensitive and "lap" grade...watches tv too. Both are easily held with one arm. There are two downsides to this ladder after price. (1). It's not possible to maintain 3 points of contact using it in commercial settings. Fortunately, it's just an OSHA recommendation. (2). Worry this ladder will not arrive at all. With or without footprints, everyone will want this ladder. From delivery drivers to warehouses to DIY-neighbors. No way we're keeping this stored in our garage. They'll have to come inside the house and try to get it for free. I spent weeks looking at ladders. Then, trying to justify the price of this one. As soon as I saw it - SOLD! Sadly, Amazon also increased price $50 - yikes!

Great step ladder for home use
Most commercial construction sites won't allow this type of ladder, despite it being rated to use the top step as a platform. But for home use, when you don't want to haul a 6-foot ladder around the house, this is perfect, and far safer than the kitchen-style step stool made of stamped steel. Safer, because the legs are made of non-conductive fiberglass, because it has large grippy rubber feet, and because it has a sufficient weight rating for even a larger adult with a heavy tool belt to use safely. I particularly like how the ladder quickly flops shut when picked up from the top, meaning no extra steps to move from one area to the next.I use this for hanging pictures or decorations, changing light bulbs in the few fixtures I can't reach from the ground, and taking down battery powered security cameras for charging. All of those tasks are considerably easier with a small step ladder than they would be with something larger.

Mine broke within 2 months but replaced by LG warranty
I needed a double sided 2 m-step ladder for drywall use and this little guy was perfect while it lasted. I used it for about two months till I stepped on the top of it one day and it cracked and nearly collapsed. I contacted LG directly and they honored a replacement via their warranty program. I should be receiving the new ladder next week and hopefully it lasts longer than 2 months. FWIW I weigh 170lbs and took good care of the ladder while I had it.
