Simple and effective!
I only ordered these because I didn't want to leave the house and this was the cheapest option shipped at the time. This turned out to be a good decision! I have one of those bucket type traps, and while it has worked a few times, these traps caught the same amount in a week as the other did in six months. No issues with mice taking the bait and running, nope, no empty traps. Appears to kill immediately since the trap does not move from where I've placed it. Would it kill a rat? Hmm, I've had a pet rat before, this would do the job, but some freakish N.Y. rat? No way. I even set one in a spot that squirrels like to visit. They set it off, but it does not deter them. (No, I didn't think it would kill a squirrel, I simply wanted to squirrel to dislike it enough to not come back... failed that test.)Simply put, Peanut Butter+Trap= no mice!

Two Traps Set, Two Dead Mice. Overnight. Yay!
I received these yesterday. They weren't the easiest traps to set, and I snapped my finger once, but I got it figured out. I only did two to start and this morning we had two dead mice. Just a little peanut butter was all it took. I bought the four pack to give them a try, but I'm going to order the big pack next. We're in the country and we have a LOT of mice.

Sensitive Traps!
In my opinion, these traps are superior to the Victor traps that I ordered previously. The metal trip wire that runs to the bait holder is thicker, and the whole unit seems to be beefier. I like the plastic, perforated holder for the bait better that the stamped steel in the Victor, which seems less sensitive to mouse gnawing. The bait was always missing with the trap un-sprung, even when I pinched the bait into the steel holder with pliers. The spring on the Victor is stiffer, but I’m not looking to kill rats, here.I guess we’ll see how things go.

The perfect mouse trap
I've tried some of the "new and improved" mouse traps in the past, but never again. This original is the best and only type of mouse trap you need. Proper placement is the key.Note: make sure children and pets can't get to them!

Best mouse trap made due to its large, sensitive trip pad.
These mouse traps work very well due to the large trip pad. Where other mouse traps fail, this one catches them

I don't know how my order got switched to 48 traps! I only ordered 12...
I only ordered 12 of these traps for $9.98, went through checkout, the amount was correct, but now I see that I was charged for the 48 pack. I'm very disappointed and disheartened that this has happened, and will not order this product again, as I am disabled a can't afford the return shipping fee. Paying that would make the refund about what I should have been charged to start with, and I'd have no traps.About the traps; they they are very hard to set without tripping them and snapping my fingers, and the yellow plastic area to put the bait on is so slick. It is almost impossible to make anything stick to it. Not my favorite...

We're happy
They need better protection in shipping, as 2 of them had the staples pushed deeper in the wood making them not function. With a bit of work with needle nose piers, they are fine
