Lasted 7 years outside in WI
We’ve had this table for 7 years. It has sat outside year round in harsh Wisconsin weather (extreme cold, snow, ice, summer heat and humidity, and was never in the shade) and has survived chlorine from kids coming out of the pool and sitting down. It got heavy use from kids and adults alike during this time. We never folded it up and stored it either. Two years ago the plastic table top started cracking along the edges where people sit and lean onto the table and the edges of the seat benches. This year it’s bad enough that it’s crumbling off so we need to replace it.See photos of what this looks like after 7 years. No rust anywhere on the metal frame! This table has been the most durable and longest lasting piece of outdoor furniture that we’ve ever bought! I’m incredibly surprised and impressed. I highly recommend it.

The name says it all!
I have bought two of these. My first one is in my back yard, and is 4-5yrs old, and still as good as new!Takes a bit to put together (the secret is to NOT over-tighten any screws), but is so worth it when done!We do not fold it and store it - it stays outside year-round in Ohio, so it gets rained on, snowed on - you get the picture - in the spring I just take the pressure washer to it, and it's ready to use!I am a big guy, (was around 380lbs, now 307lbs) and all the people on my side of the family are big people. This table has had multiple years of 2-6 people sitting on it all the time. I sit on the table top too - it doesn't wiggle, nor collapse - it's a strong table! No sun fade, it looks the same as the brand new one we bought for friends after they were drooling over ours!It can collapse flat to be hung on a wall in the garage if you like (friends will use it at their camper in the summer, then bring it home each winter)No rust yet, no repairs needed, it just sits in back and is used year-round! Best part, my wife loves it! Nuff said...UPDATE 11/30/2010Am bad on tracking dates - but this is now 6-8yrs old~! Still in perfect condition, still stays outside year-round, and just gets power-washed each spring. We love it, we use it a LOT, and our entire family are big people with no problems. Would still buy it all over again :)UPDATE 04/13/2012Just got done power-washing the winter crud off the top and benches. The table is still rock-solid, it's a little faded now, sorta washed-out color now, heh - still almost zero rust! Just a bit on a few of the screw heads where you can't see it unless you flip the table over. I wish I remembered the exact date I bought this, am thinking around 2003, but am pretty bad on dates. All I can say is this table is wonderful, no work ever done to it after I put it together, it's up year-round, and I simply clean it each spring.

Very poor instructions made assembly difficult.
Assembly was difficult because the instructions were terrible__ features of parts necessary for orientation were omitted in both instructions and illustrations. But as much of the assembly as possible was already done__ small parts were in place, so there were no bags of screws and washers. And the table will all fold flat for storage__ probably why it is so rickety. Other than poor instructions and ricketyness, it seems well worth the price.

The product is as described
I ordered two of these tables for our church, as we have one at home that's held up well for years. We were glad to receive them earlier than expected, and both were in good condition. However, the shipping box for one of them was all torn apart and open on one side. The instructions and hanging brackets were missing. We didn't report it, as we don't plan to hang the tables. I would highly recommend them as good, sturdy picnic tables.

These tables worked great for our family campout. Sturdy, easy to get in and out of and fold flat for storage.

Quality Issues
Manufacturing issue. The table top wasn't fully welded together.Edit: I contacted Amazon, and they offered a partial refund, which I declined. Instead, I requested a replacement. However, Amazon directed me to contact the manufacturer for further assistance. I’ll update this review as the situation develops.

Very happy with this purchase
I've wanted a picnic table for a long, long time, which made it a big deal for me when I finally made this purchase. I'm so happy to be able to say that I am very pleased and I would most certainly purchase this product again.Several things to highlight:One, this table is strong. I say that because our particular table went through a unique test. It was delivered on the last Friday in June, still in the box, left propped up against our house, which is located six miles north of the Fort Wayne airport. It arrived just about two hours before the violent storm called a derecho rolled through our area. The most intense winds in the 700-mile path of that storm were clocked at our airport, hitting 91 miles an hour. That wind swept past our house, slamming the table flat on the driveway. The table was, amazingly, no worse for the wear. I figure that promises good things ahead for durability! Two, assembly was easy. I was able to assemble the table in short order, with my daughter's help. Well, actually . . . vice versa. My home-from-college daughter assembled it in short order, with me pointing at things on the diagram, doing a little bit of balancing with long pieces, and helping to turn it right-side-up at the end. I was nervous about tackling the assembly, but it went great.Three, Lifetime Products really stands behind their stuff. We experienced a problem, presented it to the company, and received polite, competent, efficient and prompt service. I was impressed. Wouldn't it be wonderful if things always went this way?Update: I am just now preparing to put the picnic table away for the winter of 2016-17. It's still just as functional as ever. I'm really pleased.
