It just works (yes for real)!
I thought it would be £100 of snake oil. It's absolutely....not! It actually works. Fantastic! After months of work-arounds and wasted studio time, I bought this and stuck it on the back of my music production computer's power socket. Suddenly, the annoying static noise is gone! (Didn't do anything when I plugged it into my subwoofer, which feeds my studio speakers, so obviously it was my computer's ground loop causing the issue). My problem: static noise ranging from walkie-talkie type noise, to weird squeaking. Especially when launching applications or browsing the web. Any video related things would send it into overdrive. What I tried:Changing monitors. No difference.Plugging my audio equipment into it's own power strip. Nope.Using mains and not power strip. Nope. Using a powered audio interface...a bit of an improvement but NOT to the level that still won't drive you nuts.Changing audio interface. Whether I used a £200 or £1300 interface. Same issue.Using the clip-on wire things on ALL my equipment. Nope.Getting an electrician in. Interesting experience. But nope.I didn't expect this to work. But it did! Simple :)But what about the price then? I thought 4/5 due to the expense. I held off because of the expense and tried those ideas above. Overall...I've lost way more than that price in wasted time trying to find solutions and being utterly exhausted. So 5 stars for me!

Fixed my ground loop issue
Built a custom pc that left ground loop noise coming from my monitors. Plugged this into the power supply of my comp and it fixed the noise (theres still a minor bit of high end noise though). 4 stars as it mostly solved the issue, but i found this product to be a too expensive

Don't risk this product.
Had a noticeable speaker hum when new unit connected to a Naim SuperNait 3 amp. Was assured this would do the trick and eliminate it. It didn't. Waste of money.

Fully resolved ground loop noise issue on desktop pc
Whilst this is quiet an expensive item, it has proved immediately effective at resolving a ground loop audio issue with my desktop computer.Prior to this I had managed to resolve the noise (mouse movement, GPU hum etc) by running the computer via a UPS, however this was overkill and wasteful power wise. Given that the UPS worked when everything else had failed (moving power sockets, putting all audio on same power socket, grounding case to amp etc), I was fairly sure the iFi would fix it without a UPS.I did run a somewhat unsafe test with an ungrounded IEC lead (don't do this as a fix) and this resolved the issue so I ordered the iFi. I now have all the befits of noise isolation without a grounded lead but without the lost of protection as the iFi will kick in if there is a fault.I am not going to claim this will fix your ground loop or noise issues as it is a problematic issue to resolve that can have lots of causes but given the above this fixed it completely for me.

Eliminated the ground loop noise, but add another...
This device really eliminated the ground loop noise, but instead I got another noise... Maybe the DC eliminator can help, for more 100+ euros, I don't know, but it was a sad experience...At the end I can't really use it, decided to but Ifi defender+ (usb solution) and it worked like a charm! So you can try this one, it probably will help to eliminate the GROUND LOOP SOUND. But you will sound something else... And I'm not the one who write comment about it.

no frills,does its job.
This item totally removed mains hum from a transformer rated for 230V AC when supplied by UK 240V power line.

Got off to a good start.
Hmm?Well I have had this dreaded hum which I was sure was coming from the computer and could be heard on all music mixes. After basically isolating everything else from leads, Interface, guitar, guitar effects, monitors. The culprit I believed was the PC and what I had I was sure was ground loop..Now I saw this unit and its price and in a way a big step to take especially if you find out the noise is still there. So I took a chance thinking that if it doesn't work well I'll just return it get a refund..So a couple of days before this arrives I have this switching noise now present almost like someone switching a light switch off or on.The hum was still present but seemed to be a lot more reduced..So the unit turned up and was fitted, trouble is on this PC you have to keep shutting it down and then starting it back up again not a quick process. So the hum was still there, I compared it with or without never really made any difference to that, so the only other culprit is the interface but I'm not getting a USB version of this unit. However after saying all that some of the noises are gone, as well as that switching noise, but I don't think I've tried this unit long enough.. so will update this review when tests are completed. Thus far yes its good does the job, but I'm not convinced yet..Longer session required.
