Hard EVA Travel Case for Novation Launchpad Mk2 /Novation Launchpad Mini [MK3] MIDI Grid Controller by Hermitshell

This is a really nice case. It has hard foam on the inside bottom and eggshell foam on the inside top to tightly secure your items and prevent shocks from damaging the insides. Strong dual zipper, thick outer material and sewn in handle with rubber sleeve.But... it does NOT fit the Novation Launch Control XL or the new Launchpad Pro models (which are a different size than original). I fear it won’t fit the (newer model) Launchpad X either as its 24cm x 24cm and this case is like 23.75 x 22.5 cm on the inside. The mini Launchpad would likely fit nicely and the image that shows a mk1 Launchpad model so I assume that one would likely fit also, but it’s not even close to fitting as far as the Launch Control XL goes (which is supposed to be exchangeable with a LaunchPad X in the neoprene case). I keep my portable hard drive and DVD burner inside mine - it’s great for that, just not what I intended.Don’t be fooled by “other people purchased” listings beside the official Novation neoprene soft case showing this. It ALMOST fits, but there’s no way to get it in there. I think they mean this is a good case for the LaunchPad Mini or the past model of the Launch Control that was slightly smaller.Regardless, the seller is very responsive and resolved my issue to 100% satisfaction. I wouldn’t buy this for a LaunchControl BUT I would not hesitate to buy it to keep something else safe! The hermit shell cases ARE great quality, just measure first for yourself first to be sure it will fit your device! Product took almost 3 week to get to Winnipeg from China but the estimate was for another 2-3 so that’s positive also.

No sirve para el Launchpad. He probado con las dos versiones que tengo el MKII y el X. Le daría 0 estrellas porque en la descripción del producto dice que es para un Launchpad, pero le doy 1 porque el material es de buena calidad y por lo menos me ha servido para el Launchcontrol que tengo (aunque mi intención de compra no era para este controlador).

I gave this 5 Stars across the board because it's a great hard shell case it's a little bit snug but it fits both my Launchpad and I bought a second one for my launch control... I don't have to worry about my gear getting broken anymore... And nothing's going to get Dusty when it's not in use

The Pro case fits perfectly and is very nicely padded. I ordered 2 but was sent one Pro case and 1 mini case. I returned the mini case and they sent me another mini case. Returned that one too, but I'd love to get another Pro case.
