Huge module with wide-angle milquetoast camera quality, but works with Windows Hello
SIZE: I placed this camera on top of a 24" monitor, and it takes up about 1/3 of the width. It's a big boy.VIDEO QUALITY: I was surprised how wide the angle on the camera is. This means you can see a lot of my messy room! The video output looks washed out and slightly grainy, but it's serviceable for video calls. Just make sure to blur your background or add a background photo.WINDOWS HELLO: after configuring, it works like a charm. I've yet to dig too far into using WH with my password manager, but the option is there.--IMPORTANT:-- If using with a desktop PC, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TPM Module and that your motherboard supports it. I purchased an MSI one on Amazon for $25. It does some extra security stuff that I'm not familiar with.BONUS: There's a switch to turn off the camera on the unit if you'd like a little extra security. I don't know if it turns off the included microphone.--SHOULD YOU BUY?-- If you're looking for an inexpensive Windows Hello solution, then yes! If video quality matters to you, I would recommend a separate webcam for your calls and use the Kaysuda solely for Windows Hello.

Solid, affordable webcam with Windows Hello facial recognition
Wasn't sure what to expect, but the picture and video quality turned out to be very comparable to my Dell Latitude's built in webcam. I use this webcam for hours every day during conference calls in Zoom and Microsoft Teams.I currently have it set on top a 34" curved ultrawide monitor (1500R curve) and it fits just fine. The facial recognition with Windows Hello worked great on my personal computer, even in low light. PLEASE NOTE: If you're working from home and want to attach this to your work computer, it may not work automatically. For Windows computers that are joined to a domain (most are managed via Active Directory), your IT department needs to configure additional security components before Windows Hello biometrics (facial recognition or fingerprint) will work. This turned out to be a great, affordable alternative to the much higher priced (and to be fair, higher quality) Logitech Brio 4k.

Truly plug-and-play, with snapping fast Windows Hello Face login
The CA20 camera unlocks my Windows 10 machine within a second, much faster than the older unit from Kaysuda with a 720P camera. It was a truly plug and play experience, making my desktop machine as easy to unlock as my Surface 7 tablet. For video quality, I cannot tell the difference between this unit and Logitech C930e in Zoom. The video looks crisp and clear for both. Though, I would argue the CA20 unit is A LOT larger. See the attached photo for a "side-by-side" comparison between a C930e unit and the two units from Kaysuda, with the CA20 in the middle.Lastly, to my surprise, CA20 has an interesting On/Off switch that operates on itself. When switched to the "Off" slot, the camera is "removed" from the Device Manager as if the USB cable is removed. This is the first **real** power button I have ever seen from a webcam :)

Clearly not 1080p
The facial recognition works great, worked right out of the box for me. If that's all you're looking for it should be fine; however, this camera does not look 1080p to me.Comparing it to my other webcam (which doesn't have windows hello, which is why I bought this one) you can see a clear difference. It doesn't adjust to lighting conditions very well and looks significantly more pixelated and washed out. See PhotoFacial recognition stops working if I have either camera in use in the background even if it's not the one I use for that but that might be a windows issue, idk

Cheapest option for face unlock in Windows 10, but there's a reason...
First off, don't expect this camera to function any better than comparable 720p webcams with Windows Hello support... I assumed since this model was 1080p instead of 720p that the quality would be comparable to a decent laptop webcam. Sadly, this is not the case, and it's easy to see why now. The CA10 webcam, that I'm assuming the video sensor is taken from, is absurdly cheap for a webcam, and is priced reasonably for what it is. That being said, you need to look at the CA20 webcam price in being 2/3 Windows Hello, and 1/3 video-webcam, and set your expectations from there. Images are extremely low contrast, blurred, with terrible/nonexistent backlight compensation. Think in terms of early 2000s flip-phones with cameras. If you just want a webcam for occasional video-use and mostly for windows hello login, this may be a good fit for you. If you routinely use your webcam, especially for professional use, then I'd recommend stepping up to the 4k Windows Hello Webcam alternative instead, or looking into a Windows Hello compliant fingerprint scanner + decent webcam. While 4k is mostly just marketing from a video-conferencing standpoint, the lighting control, contrast, and sharpness would be far better.

Windows Hello webcam that just works
Took a chance on this new camera from Kaysuda - just added to Amazon in July 2020, no reviews as of this date. Updated model to their old 720p camera. I read that there were some issues getting that older camera to work with Windows Hello. There were no such issues here. Plugged the camera in and no drivers were needed - it just worked. Win 10 1909.I did need to reboot before Windows Hello recognized it as an available option. After setting it up, it appears to work perfectly for Windows Hello logins with multiple users.Quality is OK - it's not a 4k camera by any means, but if you want a decent reasonably priced camera that's Windows Hello capable and actually in stock in 2020, your options start and end here.
