Q: I think the filters work great but the coffee is very weak since the instructions specifically say not to pack. Any suggestions for a stronger cup?

I found that just taking the filter out and only using the screened coffee holder to put my coffee in, the coffee comes out perfect. I just dump out the grinds and rinse the little screened pod coffee holder, then fill with more coffee for another cup. I thought I had to have the paper filters and I was wrong, I do not have to have them.

Q: can these be used with the My K-cup reusable pod?

You have to buy the grey EZ cup to use with the filters. I think using two filters (the reusable screen one and the paper) makes it weaker so I use my coffee grinder to grind the regular coffee finer before filling it. I've never tried using the paper filter without using the EZ cup screen filter. I bought extra screen filters as well as the paper filters.

Q: I ordered these thinking they were all I needed to make kcups at home with my own coffee. Is this all I need, or do I also need to buy cups and lids?

Hi Cynthia,You need to but the little brown cups with lids as well. Although an additional expense at this time, they will pay for themselves quickly, depending on how much coffee you drink. I have a canister for both regular and decaf coffee, allowing me to have as many cups of coffee I would like, for just pennies compared to the 50¢ a cup with using K-Cups.I also use a rounded coffee measure that makes it very easy to add the coffee to the ez-cup liner.Hope this helps.Kathleen B.

Q: Will these work with the new k mini

If it uses the same K-pods as the regular size keurigs, I would think it would work. You do need the eco-fill cup or something like it to use with these filters (at least that is the way I use them). I like these a lot better than the filters with no lid cover--there is a lot less clean up. I used to buy these in the store, but they are cheaper to buy in bulk on Amazon.
