1/14 Scale Ferrari La Ferrari LaFerrari Radio Remote Control Model Car R/C RTR Open Doors (Color May Vary)

Lots of people complained about a missing antenna. It is under the car with the little manual. I think a lot of people just missed it in unpacking. I just unpacked it and tried it out so it's ready for my son when he comes this weekend. It is a very nice looking car. Others complained the doors don't close. You have to push with decent pressure and they will click in. There is a finger hole to gently pull them back open if you examine under the car. It seems like a mechanism not meant to keep opening and shutting a lot or it could wear out. Overall this seems to be a nice RC car for the price. I will update once some time has passed and it has been used more.

You will need plenty of area, especially a long run to maneuver this r/c. It is the absolute quickest running r/c car I have seen. You will be amazed at the speed, and the range on this one. I would recommend using it outside first until you get the hang of operations. There just isn't enough room inside unless you have a room the size of a basketball court, (not kidding). I am completely satisfied with mine and am looking for another but different car to race on those lazy Sunday afternoons. You know the ones that start around 10:00am, and don't end until bedtime. With the headlights you should be able to run well into the night. "Enjoy the Ride!" Zoom-Zoom

Bought this for my boyfriend's birthday, he collects Ferraris so thought this would be fun. It looks just as pictured, really nice, one of the doors was stuck and took some work to get it to open. But he really likes it. The only reason for 4 stars was I didn't get the color I requested. I understand it says they can't guarantee color but email for a request, I emailed him asking for red and he said he will let the warehouse people know. So I was really hoping to get it in red, but got it in bright yellow. I think they would sell more if they could guarantee a color, but overall great product.

I purchased this car because I wanted to get my son a remote control car that was "different" from the remote control cars he's gotten in the past. Me personally, I thought it was so cool that the doors opened up like they do. At any rate, he thoroughly enjoys it and he said that it was really fast. The only suggestion I would make is to place the antenna in a more visible place in the box. My son received the car for Christmas and with all the excitement he almost threw the box away with the antenna still taped to the bottom of the box. That's all, no biggie. Great buy.

We bougt this car for our 10 year old grandson. No problems with battery installation or getting it running with the remote. It works well and is "pretty fast" according to our grandson who has seen many of his friends' similar cars. It looked good to me too.The car does not perform as well on carpeted surfaces as it does on hard ones, where it is excellent. It appears to be a bit overpowered for good grip on the carpet and the tires tend to slip. Not a problem in our case since the car will be used outside on paved surfaces.

For 30 bucks and being a plastic RC car, I wasn't expecting the detailing to be as good as it is. As an RC car it has good range, responds well, and is decently quick. When I'm not "playing" with it, I display it in my home office. It looks great. Unless you are holding it you don't think about the fact that it's plastic and not a metal model. It has rubber tires so it runs pretty smooth and quiet on the asphalt in front of the house. It's a bit fast to run in the living room...at least for me. Nicely detailed interior as well.

I order two cars, they should have been updated with two difference frequency's since they were being shipped to the same household. The cars are beautiful and they work well except for that problem.

My 9 year old LOVED this Christmas gift. He drives it all over the house, even on carpet. It is really fast and looks really cool. The only negative is that the batteries are exhausted very quickly. Had to replace them within a week.
