Have a customer with FIVE land rovers. One of which was rattling quite badly. I've been telling him it needs a timing chain for three years. He finally decided to do it. This tool did its job.

I used it and it fits . Only problem I had for my 2012 LR4 is the back corner on driver side I had to improvise using my own bolt . But it worked with no engine damage and no check engine light . You can use this tool over again . Does not seem to be a one time use if you handle it properly .

Excellent kit, I work for a JLR dealer and I wanted a kit for myself so I didn’t have to keep tracking them down. Good quality for the price. It does well

Everything you need to do the job right the first time

Camshaft locker didn’t quite work on the left head. When put on the cams we’re still out of position. Worked great on the right head. The crankshaft alignment tool is crudely made for the 3.0 engine and mines had defects in the casting. Luckily I made alignment marks before disassembly It was casted and not machines like the 5.0 crankshaft alignment tool. The gear rotating tool might be a little on the large side since I could only use to to rotate the left exhaust cam. It wouldn’t fit on any of the others. I give it 2 stars because it’s twice the price as the 5.0 only tool kit and only half the quality.
