Werner Spicy Pickled Sausage Pack of 12 – Pork & Beef Sausages 1.7 Ounce Individually Wrapped Meat Snacks

Until I tried Werner, the Penrose Big Mama or Tijuana Mama (for heat) were my choice for years but they still left me wanting for better quality because their texture is suspect, and the taste is somewhat bland, but...Werner Spicy Pickled Sausages are just plain better. They're slightly smaller in size, a tad more in price, but Werner's texture is more satisfying and won't have you questioning the ingredients. After half a box, I've yet to find any odd bone/cartilage bits like the Penrose, and the slight sweetness in the pickle flavor is a nice surprise, with not too hot heat that lingers after in a good way. Penrose relies on pickled flavor, Werner's have a superior spiciness and pickling taste. As a real lover of processed meats and after 61 years, these are the best I've found. Really enjoying the taste!

It's a good tasting product.There are some out there that I prefer more but nonetheless this is still very good and it is a local product to me. I will purchase again.

Pickled sausage is becoming harder and harder to find these are great and don’t have red dye 40 in them.

I have tried them all. These are by far the best. Only ones i had better were from local butcher homemade.

They were ok thought they would be more spicy but they have a more vinegary taste still good just cost to much to only receive 12 in the box

I grew up eating penrose hot sausages. Over the years, ive tried several different brands. The screamin demons were a close 2nd but still not the best... I first found these werner pickled sausages at a random gas station in the carolinas. Get back on the highway, try it out, freakin amazing!!! Wish i bought more. then i never seen them again. Now im starting to see them pop up locally. The gas station has them for 2 and some change, the 1 grocery store has them 2 for 4. but its cheaper to buy a full box on amazon. This saves me money and a stop at the convenience store. If you were a fan of the old penrose sausages, i reccomend you try these. They dont have the same texture or flavor, but it packs that vinigar punch. Im very picky. the tijuana mamas are too salty, along with the firecrackers. hannas are garbage. or is that herbs. one of those were bad lol. this is my new go-to. they are great!

I love pickled sausage. I've had many different brands. These are off. Something about them is wrong. There not good. They don't taste like normal pickled sausage. I'm not sure if they were made that way or something happened to them.Better not risk it. My favorite right now is Pederson's mild pickled sausage.

This has pickling flavor that will spark your salivary glands into overdrive! The pickled flavor has a bit of a kick of spice but not too much. I am addicted to these delectable bites...and now everyone at my work is as well as I buy a box or two and pass them out when we get too busy to stop for a meal! They give us that protein we need to get us to lunch and taste so good! 👍 😁🥰
