I have hypersensitive skin (I get rashes instead of regular breakouts) and I needed a chemical exfoliant. I also wear makeup everyday. This saved my skin, point blank period. I use it about every other day because I do get oily when I wear makeup, and I know my pores are STRESSED lol. It doesn't make my skin peel, and unlike other reviewers, it doesn't leave my skin dry. Just refreshed? And it's ridiculously soft afterwards.I seriously cannot believe this cleared up my blackheads AND reduced my hyperpigmentaion from acne scars in just 2 weeks. This stuff is freaking amazing.Packaging: 10/10I LOVE the packaging. It has a great little spout that's super hygenic. I used this in the shower and absolutely no water got in it.Product: 10/10I still can't believe I didn't break out from this. I'm starstruck. You won't need a peel if you use this. This is my go to Glycolic product. I have tried others, like the glycolic toner, but haven’t gotten the same results as this. I enjoy the packaging of this product and it’s not something I see often in others. I can’t say I’d enjoy it as much if it came with a pump or in a tube. The bottle is clear so you can see when it’s nearing empty. The best part is that when it’s almost gone you can just screw off the top and thump out the last of the product. This ensures you get everything you paid for! The appearance once dispensed is a clear jelly like substance that dissipates and becomes sudsy once emulsified. The scent is light and not overwhelming. I haven’t experienced any irritation when using the product in accordance with the manufacturer instructions. I have very oily skin, so that could play a role in that as well. I also found it to remove makeup pretty effectively as well. This product has reduced the appearance of acne scars on my skin, and it has also made my face noticeably softer. This facial wash is very easy to use both on the face and body. I have used it on my scalp too. Definitely a must have for me.

This was recommended to me by a dermatologist to help me deal with some mild to moderate razor burn and bumps. He said the formulation will penetrate the pores and make the beard hairs more flexible therefore easier to shave. The glycolic acid also has anti-inflammatory properties so it helps clear up and prevent irritation.I can tell you it works well. After about two weeks of daily use, I get almost no razor burn and no razor bumps after shaving. It is mild enough that it doesn't dry out my skin and I get no redness like I did from the daily use of salicylic acid.High recommended.

Game changer. Oily, dull, uneven color and blemished acne prone skin--BEGONE! After a year of using this, I've finally decided it's time to sing it's praises from the mountain tops!I was looking for products that contained glycolic acid and After doing extensive Google research on the pros and cons of GA, I decided that peels were just too risky for me. Even the most "for sensitive skin" GA Peels on the market could potentially be too strong for someone just dabbling or barely starting their GA journey.One day I was at ULTA and a friend of mine was raving about how amazing MARIOS skin care line was. I saw a bottle of this GA foaming wash and for $20 I thought, “oh What the heck ” It’s pricey but not as pricey as other GA products on the market. And damn, I’m so glad I took a chance because this has seriously and drastically improved the quality of my skin.I have combination oily acne prone Pacific Islander skin.This GA wash dissolves stubborn sebum and gunk which allows your skin/pores to breathe. Your other facial products are therefore more effective by allowing products like toners, serums, moisturizers to sink in instead of just sitting on top of dead nasty skin!The amount of GA in this product is just right—did not burn or cause redness or peeling. It simply sloughs away the dead dry skin and funk, chemically (there are no beads or grains), and washes away with water. GA is a chemical exfoliate after all.I recommend using a moisturizer with sunscreen (Aveeno SPF30–another game changer) daily while using this product. Scratch that! Even if you don’t use GA you should be using SS daily anyway lol.As far as claims on here that this MARIO B. GA FOAMING WASH is a fake, don’t believe it. Its exactly the same as the ones sold at ULTA. I think the reviews claiming it's a knock off just want a free bottle. They most likely poured the stuff out and replaced it with something else hoping for a refund. *Insert eyeroll emoji here lol*PRO TIP: A little of this stuff goes a LONG way. Two pea sized dollops or even just one pea sized dollops is enough to get suds going. If you're careful and use only that much this will last you a good while.
