Safety Leash for Pedometer (1) Unit. Helps Save Pedometers From Loss

Finally got tired of losing my pedometers when using them on pants that had no pockets. These short leashes work great, are easy to secure onto the waist of my pants & so far I have not lost another pedometer.

Well, first of all, the strap was way too long and I had to cut it down - no big deal. However, this clip is metal and has a sharp piece with “teeth” on the underside. The metal irritates my waist. I wish it was plastic like my old one. Yet, I was happy to get it. I wear it outside of my waistband instead of inside. Other than that, it does the job and you sure won’t lose the pedometer.

This is perfect for keeping my pedometer hooked to my clothing so it won't get lost. I either put the pedometer in my pocket and attach the leash to the edge of the pocket, or I clip the leash directly to my waistband. I've used another leash exactly like this one for over 6 years before it finally wore out. This product gives me peace of mind knowing I won't lose my pedometer.

ordered this strap with the intent of getting the same or very similar device that came with my pedometer originally.. because the clasp worked so well on the original. this one is a cheap clasp that I can get from any fabric store attached to a strap and barely usable. definitely hard to open and not suitable for delicate fabric.. the original was easy to use, open and safe on delicate fabric.. if it was not so inexpensive in cost I would return it but postage back would be just more money down the drain.. you get what you pay for most of the time but this does not even qualify for that much credit.. it is totally useless.. but it did teach me to be more cautious about the seller I purchase from.. fooled me once but not twice..

It does, it works. But it's not as well made as I would prefer. The clip is made for a much larger strap. The strap had lots of hanging threads where they weren't singed or cut off when being made. The small black end that goes around the item you don't want to get lost is too small for a Fitbit, so if you want to use it for your fitbit, you will have to put a different loop on there. I suppose you could put the Fitbit "through" the loop, but there's no real grip on it and if it's dangling, it could easily slip off the loop that way.If you use this on your waist band or the neck of your shirt, or anywhere that the metal of the clip touches your skin, you might want to coat it with nail polish because the finish will be gone from the clip in a matter of a week. The base metal will then be against your skin, and if you are like me, that could cause a terrible rash. Good thing they aren't expensive, I can't see them lasting for years and years.I really like the leash's the Omron Pedometers came with, plastic clip; but if you break one of theirs, they won't let you buy a new one, they won't replace the broken one and this is the next step. :) I know this from experience.

I work as a Security Officer. As a means of losing weight and maintaining weight; I purchased a pedometer Omron HJ-720ITFFP Pocket Pedometer with Advanced Omron Health Management Software after finding one of the same brand. I ended up losing the original pedometer I had found; but I found the quality of it was so good I had to get one myself. But I did not want to lose it.I needed a leash and clip to ensure it would not be lost as I moved about and occasionally bumped into stuff. So I got this leash and alligator clip. The alligator clip broke after a year of use. The leash is just fine, so I have taken to looping the leash around my belt a couple of times and I get the same result that I had gotten when the metal alligator clip was present.A secure line for my pedometer so I can walk and run without worrying about it sliding off and falling somewhere and being lost to me forever.So this is definitely worth the extra bucks to save your thirty dollar pedometer from being lost.

I bought this pedometer leash for my fitbit body monitor [...] because I knew the chances were great that I would lose the $[...] Fitbit. This leash is a bit large, but it works fine and seems totally secure. The latch is like from a child's mitten guard (the thing that holds a mitten to a child's winter jacket). Quite secure on any fabric.I own a Bodymedia GoWear Fit (I'm changing to the Fitbit if it is accurate enough), and I have already lost the GoWear Fit display twice since the latch system is so weak. I totally recommend this pedometer leash if you want peace of mind in not losing your expensive technical product that it's hooked to. I hook it to my bra and put the fitbit inside my bra, or hook it to my pocket or pants and put the fitbit inside my pocket or pants. A 4 star out of 5 since I wish it were smaller.
