A few days after I received my selfie stick, I received an email, I believed from the manufacturer - provided tips on pairing and saving battery life, I think. Totally unexpected but I truly appreciate.I tried 3 different selfie sticks and this is what I picked in the end.I don’t need this until Sept for my Vegas trip but I have been trying this out.I like this because it is the next best thing for what I need it for. - as a selfie stick in my hand while walking around in Vegas.At 4.1 oz weight, it is the lightest I could find. By the time I added my phone, it is not so light anymore but still overall lighter than if I picked the heavier options.At 6.5” length and 1” width, they are not the smallest but small enough to fit in my purse.I like it that the shutter button is on the stick itself so I don’t have to worry about losing it.It takes CR2016 battery so I bought a 6-pack spare for my trip. This stick is not rechargeable but I don’t mind it.This grips my iPhone 11 well using a slim case. Based on description, I knew it wouldn’t hold my phone if I used my OtterBox case so I can adjust to that.When fully extended, it is about 26.5” which is good enough in addition to my my arm’s length when taking selfies. I previously tried another and it was way too short at 15”. This one is better.This stick can only hold your phone in “landscape” position - something I missed when checking out this item. I wish it also holds in portrait. So, for high buildings like in Vegas, I will have to take selfies from maybe below the knee angles to capture the tall views. I’ll play more with this and see what works best.It seems to hold my phone well - very snug hold and the stick itself feels sturdy.So far, I’m overall happy with this item. It appears to be well made. I’ll update this review after my 1 week trip to Vegas.

My husband and I wanted to get a selfie stick for our next vacation - we aren't really familiar with selfie sticks so I landed on this one based on reviews. It was super easy to use - instructions were straightforward and clear. Just make sure your phone is on bluetooth, slip into the holder, press the selfie stick button for a few seconds, wait for the bluetooth to connect, then press the button for your picture. So easy and such a good price - would recommend for anyone wanting to be able to take pics at a distance using your own phone.

I ordered this because I wanted a simple selfie stick I can hold. I don't want a small tripod or anything like that. Just a basic, simple selfie stick.So I ordered this one. After messing with it for about an hour, here are my pros and cons. One pro is it's pretty solid, it doesn't feel cheaply made and doesn't feel like its gonna break any second. It connected super fast to Bluetooth and works flawlessly. It closes up pretty small and it's easy to throw in a backpack or something. It grips the phone pretty tightly, which is great.The cons I see are that it ISN'T rechargeable with a cable (like I said in my title). I honestly through it was because 99.9% of everything out there is rechargable nowadays, but I guess that's MY mistake. It uses small round batteries and it does come with an extra battery, which I appreciated (one in the unit and an extra one in a small envelope). I was gonna send it back for that reason but I didn't wanna go thru the hassle. Also, it works good if your phone is vertical but if you want a picture horizontally, it doesn't work as great. You might see part of the selfie stick in your picture.Like I said I was gonna return because I wanted a stick that I can charge but I figured for the price and the fact our phones have 10 second timers on them, it's not a major biggie.Would I buy again knowing all these things? Maybe, maybe not.

OPERATIOR ERROR I failed to follow written instructions to hold button down for 2 secs to turn on. My fault, SORRY. Perfect form factor. Everything fits completely inside SLEEK metal tube about 6” long x about 3/4” in diameter - even the phone clamp. STURDY, phone clamp is strong and extension rods appear to be very strong and WELL ENGINEERED.### My ERRONEOUS original review said: Very lightly used since purchase. Probably took no more than 30 photos before it suddenly stopped working on me wile I was using it. I figured the battery died and purchased new ones. They didn't provide any solution. Then I tested the original battery and it tested just fine! Unit has NOT been subject to ANY heavy use or treatment, much less any actual ABUSE.Won't connect via bluetooth anymore. Earlier, the little LED lit up signaling it was connected, and it worked perfectly with my iPhone. Now, my phone can't find a signal from it.When it worked, it was IDEAL! I'm really bummed out by its failure. It is tiny, slim and a neat package when closed. What a loss! ###.I admit I screwed up. Forgetting that I had to hold down the power switch for 2 seconds to turn the unit on was all my faucet. This unit is the best in terms of simplicity, closed-up form factor, price and functionality. The extended length is not the longest but it is good enough for me when combined with all other considerations.

Cheap, does the job. But the neck just snapped off on a trip to Norway. Lasted abut 18 months of very light use. Grrr!
