Delicious!
Was looking for a syrup that contained no corn syrup as our family is allergic. This golden type is brand new for us, and we all love it and have had no tummy aches! Will buy again gladly and highly recommend for those looking for regular syrup alternatives. This is healthier too and very tasty!

A unique sweet taste for baking.
I had found some recipes that called for Golden Syrup. I was curious about how it is different from corn syrup, honey, or other syrups used in baking. I tried a cake recipe I found. It does taste different than what we use in the US but it is good and definitely sweet with a honey maple flavor. Glad I purchased 2 bottles. Will try chocolate chip cookies next!

Try it- you'll ❤️ the smooth, lightly caramelized flavor of this syrup!
Use it in something you would normally use honey, corn syrup, maple syrup, or caramel in to give your recipe a whole new twist. Try it when making homemade kettle corn! Put it on your oatmeal instead of brown sugar, or in tea instead of honey. Or, when no one is looking, have a spoonful straight out of the bottle😉 Truly a one-of-a-kind flavor!!

Second Purchase.
I use Lyle's Syrup instead of Karo corn syrup when making icing for cookies. It is an excellent substitute and elevates the overall taste of the cookies I bake.

Great flavor
I had never heard of this product until I was looking for fudge recipes. I know now why it's so popular in the UK.

Heaven in a bottle
This is the best tasting syrup in existence. It even beats Maple Syrup. It's too bad that it isn't readily available in America, there's so much you can do with it. My favorite is to use it baking or to make the perfect golden syrup granola bars (do a google.co.uk search and it'll come up). But honestly? sometimes I just drink it straight out of the bottle because it's THAT good!

Glad to find...
My English father introduced my to this wonderful treat when I was a little boy, and I grew up enjoying it as a sweet addition to Sunday meals. It has become more and more difficult to find here in the USA, and I am very happy to have found a good and reliable source.I grew up dipping and pouring from the old metal cans, then from glass jars, yet I think that these new plastic bottles are the best container yet. It doesn't break if you drop it, the lid is easier to open and close, and you can recycle the bottle when you've finished the sweet contents.
