A great help during surgical rehab
Two of the legs are slightly shorter so that this sits nice and evenly when placed in the tub. The grippy feet do not slide around, and it feels stable enough for me to scoot in and out. The armrest is removable if you don't want it. The holes are large enough to allow some water to go through without compromising the stability of the seat. It is a little bit frustrating to not be able to tuck the shower curtain in as one might for a regular shower, but it's not the end of the world. If you have a handheld shower wand, it will pair great with this bench. I really appreciate it this following a knee surgery. I was able to sit down and slide into the shower, and we adjusted the height of the bench so that I could rest my leg on the tub wall while I sat there and bathed. It helped me become more independent with bathing that much sooner. I am also a larger person, and it fit both in size and in sturdiness. I don't feel like it's going to collapse underneath me or anything crazy.

This chair does what it’s supposed to do!
The first time I used this chair, both the floor and I got very clean 😂 After that, I modified the way I took a shower so that only I got wet & clean. Feel free to follow these five easy steps:1) you need a handheld shower head. If you don’t have one, go buy one. Otherwise, your floor will get very wet2) the tub is at a higher height than your floor, so the out-of-tub end needs to be taller. Unless you like being at an incline… in which case, go for it3) get in the tub using the chair, take the handheld off, point it down into the tub. Then turn the water on. If you skip this step, then you’ll get water all over the floor. Been there, done that4) after you’re wet, turn off the water and soap yourself up. Be sure to face the outside of the shower so the water goes behind you5) take the handheld off the holder, aim it down, and turn the water back on. Again, face the outside of the tub to avoid water getting outside onto the floor

Great shower bench!
Got this for my knee replacement recovery. It used it for about 6 weeks as my recovery hasn’t been the best or easiest. My tub is very high and my knee has been slow to bend and get high enough to step into the tub again. This bench allowed me to sit and slide into the tub. I am plus size and it is very sturdy, no issue there. ***I only wish it had a clip to hold the shower nozzle bc it kept dropping and that is a pain when you’re recovering from surgery to try and reach for it when you leg can’t bend. Other benches had that accessory but the reviews weren’t as good that is why I went with this bench. *Thats why is gets 4 stars*

Best purchase for elderly parent
This was a great purchase for my mom after her knee surgery. It makes it so easy to get in and out of the shower without risking a fall and the seat makes for a great place to sit when getting dressed as well. I would definitely recommend this chair. It’s easy to put together and the back and arm rest can be adjusted for facing either direction.

Measure area it needs to fit
Returned, did not fit the area . Seems like a sturdy product, easy to assemble. Be sure to measure area it needs to fit including the bathtub interior footprint

HMMM
This is OK. You do not want to set this to the highest level however. It will not hold there is someone sits down so not safe in every position
