I had my eye on this coat rack for a long time because of the light color, which I prefer over dark wood. I bought it to keep all my hats on. It was pretty easy to put together. Yes, the base is clearly not wood, but a wooden base wouldn't have the weight you'd need to balance coats. The overall look of the rack is quite lovely, Victorian and modern all at once. It holds 8 wide-brimmed summer hats on the top, a lot of baseball caps on the short pegs in the middle, knit hats on the bottom four arms (or 2 wide-brimmed hats). I am very pleased with it.

The base is weighted. I think the design on the base is a little old fashioned looking. The rest of the rack looks modern.The base is painted to match the wood so it is not very noticeable.It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I'm glad I chose this one. My husband is happy too.

You may need to clean out some of the holes with a round file otherwise a good value for the money

I gave it three stars because the base is cover with plastic that makes it look cheap. It’s very sturdy, and it serves a purpose.

I've always wanted a coat rack and this one was perfect. Plenty of space to put coats, scarves and hats plust it was easy to put together. It looks nice and is well balanced even on carpet. Just keep the flying cats away from it. Even the best coat rack can't stand up to a flying cat.The price was excellent and delivery was quick and well packaged. I highly recommend this coat rack

Very nice product. Sturdy and elegant. Product value exceeds the price - nice as a decor for the home and easy assembly.

Love this!! The various levels allow for short and long items. I also use it for my wristlets and handbags.
