You definitely get your moneys worth with these colorful robes. I mean wool or cotton would be better all (for the environment especially) around but I understand that’s what keeps the prices low. (But I would’t mind personally, paying more for use of better materials and sturdier craftsmanship. Eventually they will give out but that’s the whole point of them it seems.)Therefore it’s the perfect give away or welcome (home) gift. I gifted one to a couple friends from Poland and they were blown away. They love it to pieces. I wish I had the funds for stuff like Pendleton or Faibault blankets but these fit the bill nicely.The acrylic (👎🏾) weave also works minor miracles. I also gifted one to my uncle who installs solar panels and travels, camps and sleeps in his vehicle often. It’s plenty warm even when the weathers cold (acrylic is not known for being very breathable) and even they are even a little water repellant (just the serapes) due to the tight weave.We found that out at a ceremony this past summer where a fire had to be tended all night. At one point a good drizzle started for a little bit and he was able to stay dry/warm with the serape. Don’t get me wrong I have some personally that are solely for aesthetic purposes also but push come to shove they would serve well if utilized. The thick falsa blankets are perfect during winter time as an insulter, wearing blanket and also as an emergency robe.As society begins the long road of collapse and inadequacy goods like this are going to become invaluable.I myself also use them for sleeping at home and when I travel. They roll/fold up perfectly to fit over your folded travel clothes in your duffel bag. Also protects from elements. I often just sleep on the hotel bed (not getting under the covers) and use the serapes as a blanket.These falsa blankets/serapes are also apart of my family history being an indigenous southwesterner. My ancestors traded for and stole these blankets during those tumultuous frontier days here in Arizona. They remind me of home, the wild Wild West and they help me stay close to my roots! They also help me share that with others. Near and far.All around it’s a good product with much versatility that has brought lots of smiles and much goodwill among people. I can only hope the poorer people, the talented weavers that’s wove these tapestries, can somehow be aware of that and take pride in what they do and that they are compensated well. 🔥🌵

During the winter months I keep a down comforter on the backseat of my pickup for use as a blanket or rolled up as a pillow because I am inordinately fond of naps. But it's getting too warm for down so I began a search on Amazon for a summer alternative that I could also use as a picnic blanket or extravehicular nap pad. Definitely not a yoga pad, I'm way too brittle for yoga. Because along with being lazy, I am also cheap, this blanket caught my eye, so I ordered two. At my grand unboxing I discovered they are lot nicer than they should be for the price. Brilliantly colored, they have a soft coarseness supporting the manufacturer's assertion that these are handmade by beautiful Aztec maidens tirelessly laboring in the jungle just so I can nap in total comfort. Bless you, Aztec maidens. But I'm glad I read the reviews and washed them by themselves before using. There was an awful lot of lint. If I had a bevy of Aztec maidens of my own they probably could have knitted two more just from the lint. (Note to self: explore the hiring of Aztec maidens of my own.) Maybe these blankets could be self-perpetuating. Buy two, knit two, wash two, get more lint and keep repeating the process. And after washing they didn't get thinner or smaller, if anything they got thicker and fluffier. So stop waffling and hit "Buy now", you won't be disappointed. And thank you Aztec maidens. You have made a cheap lazy man very happy.

Super colorful and surprisingly warm!!! I use this on my couch, as a yoga mat outside, for camping, or just laying in the grass. It’s easy to wash and has survived 3 dogs and a toddler.

We have a big deck with different areas, like outside the door, the big area and one along the back of the house to the driveway. We did a "Sante Fe" trip a couple years ago and got some of the colorful stuff for walls and garden but we have a couple of those square bench height plastic storage bins there with some garden equipment. She decided to make a "santa Fe" area of our back deck. She has themes. This was a good one. We got two of these to cover the tan plastic storage bins under an overhang and they now colorful places to sit.

It's super beautiful and lightweight. I would have preferred something more heavy but this is definitely a good buy. The colors are brilliant! I use it as a blanket to lay on the grass and it's long and wide enough for a few people.

Firstly, I got this blanket for about $12. An absolute steal! The color is not like in the picture. The wider stripes are more teal and so beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised at how big and lightweight it is. The quality is topnotch and it feels thicker than how it looks. Last night was unseasonably chilly and this blanket was perfect as a layer. Add this to your cart! My goal is to get one for each of my family members because it's that amazing.
