FOR $25.00, BEATS A PIECE OF PLASTIC!
I don't get the negative reviews, perhaps just "cheap" people that are expecting a "C.F. Martin" type of instrument. They should put up the money for "the real deal", and stop complaining about 25 bucks spent.I purchased this for my 3 year old grandson, and I am amazed at the quality. It has some heft to it, constructed very well, and the tuning machines are superb! Even my "Oscar Schmidt" at $60.00 is comparable to this. The strings do leave a bit to be desired, ... so order another set through Amazon, then go on line to find the proper tuning. I got one in 'black', and the finish is better than what I expected for the price. The fret wires are decent, one has to keep in mind this is a 25 dollar introductory instrument, ... but I have to say this, ... I'm 65 years old and have been playing acoustic guitar for the past 5 decades. For 25.00 bucks, ... I'm considering purchasing one for myself (with a new set of strings of course). For the money, one can't go wrong. Ignore the complaints of "the string broke after 5 months' and 'Won't stay in tune'. Get a Phillip's screw driver, and tighten the machine heads, ... JESUS! I still remain impressed.

Best gift ever!
My 5 year old is graduating from pre school in a few weeks. She’s so excited & I’m so excited too. I snagged the cutest gift for her from Best Choice Products. This adorable little toddler sized Ukulele is neat for little ones who like to make music. It comes with a bunch of cool accessories too. Oh & bonus it’s my daughters favorite color. Cant wait to see the look on her face when she gets it.

Not playable
Very cute starter kit. But this ukulele is not playable. You can tune it, but trying to play chords will not sound like a chord, due to neck action setup. Also, I had to pay $12.00 postage to send it back. I'll update this review if they return my money and postage.

Perfect for my daughter
My husband has a Ukulele and has been playing it for my daughter since she was just born. I knew that we wanted to get her one that she could play as well. We found this one and we LOVE it! It's so easy for her to carry around and play on it. I also love that it comes with everything you need. It comes with a carrying case, picks, a tuner, and some extra string. It's really good quality and perfect for kids who are just learning.

Easy to use, great for beginners
I bought this product for myself but my daughter gravitated to it and the loves it! I still plan to learn and I am glad it came with strings to restring it, a tuner and a set of picks. It also has a neat case and strap if you're taking it anywhere. Can't wait to really get some use out of this thing, but so far we are loving the quality and the simplicity of its design.

Not Thrilled
First impressions: I got this as a gift for my niece. The packaging was okay it arrived pretty well. The instrument itself has some cosmetic flaws.Tuning it: Not bad for a new instrument. The tuner that came with it is neat and does the job. (It comes out of tune quick, but that is completely normal for new strings.) My only concern is the fretting, as it is either crooked or improperly spaced.Sound quality: The sound quality is bad and not very rich compared to some of the more expensive ukes to say the least. Kala is usually a great brand that has several options, but is a tad more pricey.

Not great quality! Disappointed our son!
Very disappointed. Son was so excited waiting for this to come and when it did its chipped, cracked, and all the screws holding string setup together are stripped. One of the screws was actually down in the ukulele itself and we had to try to fix it. The boss it came in along with everything in it was crushed. Very upset at this whole set up and if I want to return it I would have to pay shipping again??

Unplayable
When you buy a cheap uke you should expect a cheap uke however the fretboard is made of very thin plastic which makes the action way to high. This makes this unplayable because you can't hold down the strings while making chords. The nut and the bridge will have to be adjusted to allow the strings to fit closer the the fret board. Most people buying this will not want it or may not know how to. If it wasn't for this it would be a great uke.
