Great for Halloween Jack-O-Lanterns
I used these to make flickering lights for my plastic jack-o-lanterns. Use one of these in series with 3 plain yellow LEDs and a suitable resistor. The plain LEDs will flicker synced to this one and the brightness is 4X. :-)

Great Deal!
I remember buying 2 uv LED for $5 @ radioshack when they still existed around here, so you aren't going to get a complaint from me about these, but i digress.didn't count them cuz there was a freaking lot of them, didn't doubt it was 100 pc, but even if it were 20 short still not complaining, i was just trying to get a couple for a couple buck anyway.-the leads really are longer, i was slightly impressed to see truth to that (mind you they are thinner than some, not complaining)-they are actually UV, made a pack of highlighter look like some wild glowsticks-100resistors?!?! i was going to buy the LEDs any way, but this got me to buy from them as opposed to other sellers-packed well enough for LEDs, anti-stack pouches, labeled 3.3v UV and .25 watt, 430ohm respectively (otherwise i'll throw them in a bead bag from the crafts aisle, forget what they are and have to test them or look them up)thoroughly satisfied with this purchase, don't think i'll need more for a long time, but i'll happily order another color from this seller

Great for illuminating 3D printed items
I 3D print terrain for tabletop games. One of the objects is a wall-segment with a wall=mounted torch. I used these with that wall to create the torchlight effect.Pros:Price is excellent for 100 pcs.Lead material is very bendable for 90-degree turns. Do not break even with the bend right at the base of the LED.Bright enough to show through translucent plastic without being overwhelmingly bright. So far, have not had any batteries run down (I am using CR2032 batteries)Cons:None that I have encountered.

Read carefully
That colored picture applies only when the LEDs are lit. They are all clear, so you cannot tell them apart if you mix them up. They also have different voltage ratings depending on the LED color, so you have to take that into account for each one.

Resistors not included
Add stated product included 100 leds and 200 resistors. Resistors were not included in the package.UPDATE: I was contacted by the supplier who apologized for the error and wanted to correct the problem. Based on their customer service and their desire to correct the problem, I am changing my rating to four stars.

colored 200 piece LED lights
these are bright many different colors easy to work with just remember to use the resister that comes with each led or it will get to much power from your power source and blow the led out. It does not take much power to get theses turned on plus they are very bright its a win win with this kit plus very affordable. I'm using them for all of my RC kits planes, RC submarines, cars ,trucks, you name it. would buy it again

Perfect for Changing Interior Lights in my 08' Ram 1500
I bought this LED kit to replace the burnt out bulbs in my OEM switches, and change the color from the boring green to a cool blue ( I re-used the original rubber blue bulb covers with white LED's). Resistors are needed for 12V systems otherwise you just burn out LED's. I couldn't be happier how it turned out.

Perfect for repair of your LED Christmas lights
Didn't Think I would need to repair MY LED Christmas LIGHTS BUT after a few years outside they are failing. Failure is mostly corrision of the thin wires coming from the LED that wraps up on the socket to make the connection.!!I could not really find valid replacements like the old incandesent lights !!That's because each LED light is customized with a 1/4 W resister in the LED SOCKET!Remove the LED from the socket , and use these bright cool white LEDs to repair. They include 470 ohm resisters , however that value depends on how any LEDS are in the SUB-string. My 100' string is divided into 10 groups of 10 ( LED) so it uses a 270 ohm series resister ! Just carefully solder or spot weld the 1/4 W resister in series with the new LED & fit back into the Origional socket. Bend back the LED wires at the end of socket. If you are just a bit handy, this repair can save you from trashing the entire ( so called very long life LED ) light string.Goog luck !

Good Idea. Execution not quite right.
The green colour and lens placement are very good. (Some "greens" have poor colour.) The red, while colour is good, the light source is not magified by the lens, giving a weak light output. This is OK if you only want a faint indicator. Not good if you want a strong red signal.

Use your resistors
These are good. But be careful to do the math on the resistor values, so as not to burn them out. It is easy to happen with these devices: I lost a couple. Also, the colour is true only when viewed head-on, not from the side.

Junk. DO NOT BUY >>>>ALL BAD
Don't buy these. Every single one is BAD. Tested with a meter. I have verified good from another supplier. All 100 of these are garbage. JUST A SCAM. At least the 440 OHM resisters supplied are good.
