Good purchase for a starting user - for a more experienced electrician I'm sure there are better products out there, but I needed to replace a few wire ends and this served the purpose very nicely. As a complete novice, a few online tutorials coupled with these tools did the trick.

If you haven't put ferrules on the wires going into your main board then you need to get ferrules on them ASAP. This kit has everything you need to eliminate at least one fire hazard from your 3d printer (tinned wires in the terminals on the mainboard.) That said I did have issues with the green ferrules catching on the wire, but that might be due to trying to crimp them on a smaller diameter wire then they are made for. I worked around it by crimping it from different angles.

I was happy to receive this product today to finish up a project that I was working on, only to discover I ordered the wrong product. The crimping tool feels well made and everything was in a nice convenient pouch. I tested it out and crimped a few ferrules on to some wires, which it did flawlessly, before noticing it wouldn’t work for what I needed to accomplish.I contacted the seller via text (excellent option to even have) with the number included in the packaging and they were happy to refund me even though it was my fault I ordered the wrong thing.I would highly recommend this product if you need to crimp ferrule ends for a terminal block or similar use case. The tool itself worked great!

I used the crimper and ferrules to replace the tinned wire ends of my 3D printer mainboard connections. Tinned power wires going into terminal blocks are not the safest practice and bare wires are not always easy to insert. Crimped ferrules offer a good solution to both of these issues. The crimper feels very solid and works well. The kit comes with a good assortment of ferrules and they seem to be good quality parts. The included wire cutter/stripper is very basic but works well enough. Surprisingly, everything fits back in the included case easily and it too seems well constructed. Overall, I'm quite happy with this kit and would buy it again.

Worked perfectly to more securely connect the wires on my 3d printer motherboard. The crimper seems sturdy enough but the wire strippers leaves a little to be desired.

This a very complete set of wire-block terminals and a square crimp plier that terminmate 8ga to 26ga(very thin) wires, such as are used in teminal blocks, screw-down terminals, and patch panels. I found these to be of good quality, and the wire cuttter-stripper is very sharp and works well. The actual crimper is a joy to operate and makes lovely square-cross-section terminmal crimps. I'm also using these to crimp regular multi-strand wires into the square ferrules, which I then instert into REGULAR (as in screw-down and spade-type) terminals and connectors. Makes for a very attractive and strong connection. Nice case, too.

Very cool addition for doing stranded wire. Makes installation easier and more professional looking. Gave it 4 stars because the wire strippers are not very good. But guess that is to be expected at this price point.

No esperaba un gran producto pero, ¡me sorprendió! Relación calidad-precio 10/10. La pinza pela cables no es de lo mejor pero, tampoco es mala, por el precio y que se incluye en el kit está por encima de otras del precio o más caras; cumple su función y hasta el momento buena. La pinza para crimpar me parece buena, no puedo decir mucho pues no tengo referencia de comparación. Pero, los materiales son buenos, acabado excelente y deja las puntas muy bien terminadas.Además viene con su estuche y con muchas puntas según yo… para cables AWG 22 hasta 10. De estos he utilizado para calibre 18, 16, 14 (como puedes ver en las imágenes) y también en 12.Estoy feliz con esta compra; mi cables de pruebas ya tienen puntas y protegen el cable de cobre tras tantos cambios. Te recomiendo al 100% el producto y claro al vendedor que cumplió con lo que presenta XDExcelentes productos y excelente precio!!!!!!

I bought this to improve the wiring of my Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects and it worked. Here are the details I noted :PROS- Great versatility with the different sizes- Easy to use- Easy to store- The wires are crimped correctly with the toolCONS- The wire cutter feels cheap- The lock on the wire cutter doesn't really workOverall, if you buy it for the crimps and the crimping tool, it worth it.

work very well for tidying up those connections, don't need it often but when you do does a great job. about only thing I would say is if you can afford more by the octagon instead of the square crimp, but these work well for the price and good selection of ferrules
