I recently had my hair done at a local beauty shop. My stylist used the same brand of straightener. I loved it then so I ordered this one. It didn’t get nearly as hot, actually it didn’t get hot at all. My curls wouldn’t hold longer than an hour (the ones I actually got to curl). Returning this tomorrow. Ugh!

This is a nice flat iron. Glides through your hair a little easier than say a Chi with ceramic plates. It is pricey but I am happy with it. Seems to get my hair a little straighter than the ceramic plate one I had before . I like that the controls are on the inside of the handle.
