I only just realised that it has a plastic bag on the filter and I’ve had it for nearly a year. This should be put on the instructions as I wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t for the photos on the reviews.

I used this for a few days and kept thinking it's so loud I might return it. I unscrewed the base and the filter was wrapped in plastic, nowhere in the instructions did it mention that there was a plastic wrap on the filter!

The good points are that it looks good & is very easy to use although it loses one star because, like other reviews,there's no indication when it arrives that you need to remove a plastic bag from the filter before you use it.The 'sleep mode' IS very quiet but I found that it's only because it seems to power-down to the lowest setting.The filter change indicator never did come on so I changed the filter after 6 months anyway.I used it to remove smoke from a small ensuite room that I use as a 'smoke-room' & it only did that at the high setting, probably because the micron size it removes is NOT the right size for cigarrette smoke, despite the blurbsaying that it is. The paperwork that comes with it says the true micron size that it removes.It has now stopped working altogether after 10 months. Have noticed there's a 2 year warranty so am hoping when I contact them they'll refund me but if they want it back first I don't relish the thought of parcelling it up to post as it really is quite heavy from a postage point of view.To end on a positive I did try it in a larger room with no windows that can often smell 'foisty'. Left on top settingfor 8 hours in there with the door closed it DID make the room smell a lot fresher.

This purifier works like an absolute dream. From its 1st use I noticed an almost instant change of the air quality in my living room. The only drawback is the fact that unless it's on its lowest setting it does make quite a noise, I certainly wouldn't have it set to 'Turbo' as it's far too intrusive. The fact that one can time how long it is used, continuous, 4 hours or 8 hours is a bonus. Personally I'd say this item would benefit from the addition of a carry handle as it is too large to pick up with just one hand. Overall, however, I am very impressed with this product.

Wasn't sure how to review this. I've given it 3 stars purely for the fact that it has totally and utterly mugged me off today. I've had it a year, figured now would be a good time to check the filter, maybe change it, clean it, you know. So I open the thing up and the plastic bag is still wrapped around the filter. The weird thing is, despite the filter not having done a single damn thing for the last year apparently, the air purifier has somehow placebo'd me into thinking it was working great. Long story short, remove the damn plastic bag on the filter when you get it.

It's a nice size, easy to get at the filter and easy to control.You can feel the output easily and i wouldn't say it was particularly noisy. Mine came a bit scuffed up and the box wasn't sealed nor was the unit itself in the bag so I was a bit concerned. But it appears to work, is a functional item for use with my 3d printer so i didn't have care.

I bought one and it worked for two hours i turn it off to get it to the other room i switch i on and it lighted but fan did not work and i had to send it back.After that i bought another one and it works ok so far.

I didn't think I'd ever buy one of these, but after the whole family differing from hayfever, I figured, at the price it was worth a shot. I think we have had fewer stuffed noses and sleep easier. I had a look and the filter is very easy to replace - you have to look to take the plastic off so that it actually works.
