The size of the soft-bound cover is lovely to the touch, more durable but larger in size than paperback but not as heavy or big as a hardback . ok, maybe not 101 things, but there were plenty of things I loved about this book. I don't live in Laguna Beach, but I've spent some time there, and this book is a passport back to a place that brings me such joy. I loved the watercolors because they actually captured the spirit and style of this magical beach town. The writing and photos were also delightful. After spending some time with the 101 Things to Love about Laguna Beach, I found myself wanting to head straight back to Laguna Beach and re-experience the place that Sally Eastwood and Helen Polins-Jones present in this enchanting book.

Punchy prose and whimsical watercolors make this book a must for residents and visitors alike. I learned so much about my town that I didn’t know despite having lived here for decades.
