These Epic mints really are epic! I love the fruit flavor and I love that I can crunch into them almost immediately. When my body requires I get up in the middle of the night to p, I toss 2 or 3 in my mouth on the way to the bathroom and by the time I get back into bed I have nothing but a few teeny pieces in my mouth and I can fall back to sleep without worrying about choking myself! They do wonders for our teeth and will never cause a cavity - you just can't beat them!

I have purchased Altoids Smalls Cinnamon for years, just because they are stronger than the big version of them, and I like the flavor - plus the cute little tins you can take everywhere. All of a sudden I found I could no longer find them anywhere. I bought a different product to try and was not impressed, but then a different company also got rid of the dry mouth mints I had been using at bedtime. My search began for a replacement product for that and I stumbled upon these Epic mints - they have the xylitol to deal with my dry mouth issues, and this huge cinnamon flavor that might even be stronger than Altoids Smalls! Plus they come in a large quantity in a bottle and last a long time, and I get the 2-pack to boot. Being the jerk that I am I carry them around in the original tins for the Altoids. These are larger in size, but you can still get plenty of them in the tin to last a while. So in my experience the flavor of these is strong enough to impress me, they come like 180 in a bottle, they are effective for dry mouth situations, and the price for 2 of the big bottles is easy on the budget! I would sincerely recommend them, especially if you really like cinnamon, but there are other flavors.

The cinnamon flavoring in these mints is very, very strong. To the point that when I first tried it, it burned. It didn't take a week to get used to it, and I consider the strength of the flavor to be a big positive. Most xylitol brands have cinnamon gums, while few (actually, I can't think of any just now) have cinnamon mints. Cinnamon is a nice change of pace for me.Major name brands frequently have an insignificant amount of xylitol per mint. These, along with a number of other smaller brands, have .5 grams. This is important to pay attention to because xylitol helps with dental health in multiple ways. First, it does not cause cavities like a sugar-based mint would and by stimulating saliva, tends to help repair past damage. Xylitol itself is also a base that can neutralize some acid. Most importantly, it can can help prevent future damage from future meals by suppressing bacteria that would otherwise generate cavity-causing acids. The latter is only true if you get enough xyiltol per day, spread throughout the day. From what I've read, that means 6-10 grams consistently, every day. With a mint that has .5 grams, you'll need to be sure to eat 12 to 20 mints every day to get this secondary preventative benefit.I started buying this brand years ago in different packaging, and since then, prices have risen about 50%. This packaging, with the full Subscribe and Save discount, is slightly more reasonable, but I can't afford to use as much as I used to. I supplement with non-xylitol sugar free mints and xylitol based Ice Breakers Ice Cubes (try the raspberry sorbet), which find their best use immediately following meals. I can't lower my rating over the price, because there's really no competitive xylitol cinnamint out there.Gum is arguably a better delivery system for xylitol, however it also frequently contains titanium dioxide (which may or may not be dangerous) and is often more expensive. People often complain that the cinnamon flavor in some of those less recognizable brand gums passes very quickly, though that varies. The flavor in the mints lasts all the way to end. As I'm not a big gum fan anyway, these mints are my preferred xylitol source. I really only chew gum right after meals..

Tastes great. Good for dry mouth

I'm hopelessly addicted to the butter party mints, because they're soft and SO minty. I don't have diabetes, but I don't want it either, and I know those butter mints are 3 grams of sugar in one tiny mint. I was looking for mints that are low in sugar, and also in calories, because the way I love mints, I can't just have one, or two, or three, I have to eat a handful. I eat mints or things containing mint like people eat potato chips, lol. But 99 percent of the sugar free, or low sugar mints out there are hard candy. I have nothing against hard candy, but I prefer something softer, I couldn't care less about the crunch of a food in general. While these are a little bit hard, it doesn't take a lot of effort to chew them. Plus, they're minty. Xylitol doesn't bother my stomach, I must have an iron gut. Although they're pricy, I'd definitely get these again.
