The length of the hands is detailed in the photos of the product. Second hand = 2.54” Minute hand = 2.2” Hour hand = 1.63”

Q: Can you confirm if this is a trigger movement or a silent movement?

The second hand is a steady sweep movement, which I assume means it is a silent movement. The mechanism is silent.

Q: Can i use my existing clock hands with this mechanism? The mechanism is the right size, but the hands that come with it are too long.

We sent it back because it wasn't the right size, however, I believe you could use the existing hands, though.
