Two Meows Litter Mat - Green

It's pretty big and rich in color. If you're sure your pet exits the box on one side it will help with cleanup a lot. It's not perfect but nothing is---there's always going to be bits of obscenely dirty stuff traipsed around for a couple of feet. The reduction in mopping has been noticeable though. My cats love to lay on it, both of them, which might be a bad thing if you don't want to risk your cats laying in their dirty litter, but if you clean it often and aren't a germophobe it's not a problem. Cleanup is easy enough. I spray a garden hose on them and leave them out in the sun for awhile. They hold water about as well as litter so during the winter months if you live in the north you might want to hang them somewhere warm before doing anything else with them.All in all a great product, great color, fade-resistant, durable, easy to clean, artistic and easy on the eyes, cats seem to love it and me as their owner does too because it works!

The mat works GREAT!! This would be a 5-star review except for 2 things: one, I wish the mat was bigger... because it really DOES work!!! In fact, since the price is so reasonable, I will probably buy a second one anyway, as we use two extra-large litter boxes side-by-side and there is plenty of area for cats to track out of and on to. The other thing is, while I know other people say they love the cheery green color -- and it IS a fun color! -- it clashes horribly with everything in our house which is full of antiques and fabrics in muted hues. But rest assured that the mat does an excellent job of cutting down on tracked debris, and if you have a regular-sized litter box and like bright colors, this will be a better-than-5-star item for you, for sure!

Love this mat! It has done exactly what I expected it to do- cut down on litter tracking all over the place. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars has nothing to do with the mat. One cat jumps out of the side of the litter box and kicks litter on the areas not covered by the mat. The other cat picks at the mat with her teeth and picked holes into it within 3 days of putting it down! She has an issue of doing the same thing with other fabrics: a needlepoint pillow and wool cat cave, thankfully not the couch! Not sure what to do. Hopefully she will get tired of picking and I'll just get a new mat.

I bought this mat in hopes of reducing the amount of litter tracked all over my house. So far it is working. Other mats I have tried did nothing, sometimes because the cats would just jump over them because they didn't like the way the mats felt on their feet. They don't mind this one and the amount of litter tracked around is way down. If I had one thing to say it would be to make the mat just a little bigger as it moves around a little and doesn't stay in front of the box. Other than that it's great.

I thought this would solve my problem of having litter on the floor after my cat uses his litter box - it doesn't. It doesn't appear to be any better than the plastic tray I had before - at least with the plastic tray, he wiped his feet sometimes and litter that was left on the tray could easily be placed back in the litter box and I could wash it in the sink to sanitize it. Also, the litter that is scattered on the Two Meows Cat Litter Mat gets slightly attached and must be vigorously shaken over the litter box to remove litter which sends litter flying - I'm glad I didn't throw my old plastic mat away - I'll be using it again. With either the Two Meows Litter Mat or the plastic tray, you're still going to have a vacuum up litter from the floor. So much for trying to out smart a cat!

I've only had the mat for a few days but it seems to be doing the job! My cat box is in the bathroom (I live in an apartment) and the litter tracking was getting on my nerves. I was using newspaper, but it doesn't keep the litter from tracking. I saw this mat and thought it was cute. after reading some of the reviews, I decided to give it a try. It looks much nicer than newspaper, and my cat seems to like the surface. I haven't had to sweep up tracked litter since I put this down (hooray!). Great product. I definitely recommend this. Update: I loved the first mat so much, that I bought another (my cat exits her box in different angles). I really like the green mat; it's a bright pretty color; and it doesn't show the litter like a darker shade would. A great product and a great company to deal with.

If one could be in love with a kitty litter mat, then call me smitten!! I got it mainly for catching the spray of urine that comes out onto the floor when my one cat occasionly does not go into the litter box far enough. The mat certainly takes care of that problem. Instead of having to clean the floor, now I just spray on some Simple Green and either take the mat out to hose it off or rinse it off in the laundry sink. It is also fabulous for catching the litter from all the kitty toes. The company obviously cares about their products and the customers who purchase them. Wonderful. I have just purchased a second mat so that I can switch them out as I need to clean them. Thanks for a wonderful experience. I recommend this product most highly!

This Two Meows Cat Litter Mat definitely makes a difference in keeping our tile floors litter-free. We still have to sweep around the area of the litter box each morning, but there is only about 1/3 of the previous amount that was on the floor prior to purchasing this mat, and the two cats are not tracking litter all over the room as they were previously. Our cats seem to like the texture just fine. I only wish there were larger sizes available, as I will need to add at least one more to cover the exit paths from the litter box. I will definitely purchase another.
