Placed in pot, put in the water, set temp, set time, turned it on. Took a minute or so for water to reach right temp dropped in steak, Very quiet and you can see the water swirling in the pot. Two hours later, steak ready to sear. Perfect. Have cooked steak, chicken breast, pork roast, and pork tenderloin in marinaded packs from Walmart, these are great. So far, It works as good as it could. No bells and whistles. KISS

It's high quality, looks great and very easy to use for a beginner like me. The directions are clear, just follow the instructions, prepare the food, then set the temp and time, and cook delicious meals. The display is easy to read and temperature is accurate. If your just starting sous vide or you are looking for a cheaper priced sous vide that can do a great job, it is worth trying. Glad to have it!

Bought this a day after using previous one I purchased weeks ago was extremely loud and didnt seem to hold proper temperature.This sous vide came as advertised. Easy setup and ease of use. Used it the same day as delivered. My favorite part is how QUIET it is.Highly recommend this product and much cheaper than other products out there. No need for bluetooth or wifi.HOWEVER, after only a few times using the product, the clip that attached to a pot or container cracked and now is not able to stay. Very disappointed with this piece as the actual device works great.Would give it a 5 star if it wasnt for the cheap plastic clip that now makes sous vide useless!!!

I will be honest. The first unit that I received did not work. I contacted Amazon and returned it. Received a new one in two days. This one seems to work fine though I've only used it once. It is quiet, maintains temp, and is easy to operate.

Overall this thing is pretty good. It does fluctuate a little more than some other sous vide machines i have used before but still gets my steak right where i want it for the most part before searing. Super quiet and easy enough for my 10 year old to use.**EDIT** I have had this for some time now. It did not age well unfortunately.... The metal cap over the pump and heat pipes on the bottom falls off in water, and there is no way to keep it tight so sometimes it will just stop and emit a LOUD screeching beep from the machine. Defiantly expected it to last longer than this.

I plugged it in once. Set the temp. Then it immediately started super heating and boiling the water. After the water started boiling the power button and the interface stopped being responsive. I unplugged it to shut it off. Now whenever you plug it in it just starts super heating. No interface lights up, you can't interact with it at all. I made sure the water was up to the Max line. I even tried setting the temperature at around 80 degrees and it still just superheats to boiling. Pretty useless product.

I gave it a 3 basically because I have only used it 3 times. I don't see a reason why it will not rate a 5 star

I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but the design is very impressive. I look forward to trying it out as soon as I have time.
