This is an amazing flashlight but you need to know some things
This flashlight is my absolute favorite. When you order it, order at least 4 of them and immediately test them with a AA alkaline battery before you unwrap the rechargeable battery. After you've turned it on, gently tap the switch to see if it's faulty. More than half are. Next, slide the focus in and out. If it catches, search for one that doesn't. Unscrew the best switch and put it on the smoothest focusing unit and you'll have a perfect flashlight. You need to search for a good one and return the defective ones. Once you choose one that has a stable switch, you'll have a flashlight that exceeds almost any reasonable expectation. The light brightness is completely uniform, so uniform it's shocking. The focus feature allows you to turn this flashlight into a pointer that can be used to indicate things you need or instruct people as to what you're talking about. The flashlight clips on a hat brim facing the correct direction. I give these away as presents after testing and vetting them (and only one in three or four is usable) and everyone I've given one to thinks it's the coolest flashlight ever.Update: Although the rechargeable battery is exceedingly bright, bring several alkaline or preferably lithium batteries if you’re going on a lengthy trip. A lithium battery might last three hours tops and will suddenly go dim.

Great little light at affordable price
I have purchased four of these now, two as gifts or my sons and I lost my first one and liked it enough to replace it with the same light. I use it as my Every Day Carry EDC flashlight, it's always in my right front pocket. The light is small, bright, and fits easily in my pocket. The battery runs down pretty quickly but that's a tradeoff for having a bright light. I could have better battery life by trading the battery with a AA. The power button on the tailcap is pretty stiff but I think it's usable. The rechargeable battery and the charger work well and are easy to use. The pocket clip allows this light to be put on the bill of a hat so this can be used as a headlight making it versatile. I'm not a fan of the strobe function being part of the rotation when you click through the power button options but I can live with it.By comparison I prefer some of the features of the NEBO Redline FLEX 450. It doesn't require you to ever see strobe unless you double click the power button. The Flex also allows you to recharge it on the fly via USB cord. I love the Flex, I prefer its features over the Gracetop but that light is a bit bigger making it too big for me to EDC. Overall I like the Gracetop better as my EDC, it's features are good enough and the reasonable price that I won't cry about if it gets lost of broken. The attached photos show what comes in the box. There is also a picture of the Gracetop flashlight next to a 2 D maglight. The final picture shows a AA battery then the Gracetop flashlight and finally the Nebo Flex. Overall it's a great little light for a reasonable price.

good for fishing
I bought this because it came with the batter, item is not that small, as i thought it would be but because i'm 5'5 so i guess my hands are smaller than the picture.i bought this for the reason of the clip , that i can clip on hat while i'm fishing and use it handfree as well as holding on hand when i'm in the car or walking, but the clip was not bent enough, i had to use plier and crimp it down to beable to attach to my hat, and it worked as describe.only problem is the clip is only clip on the body of the flashlight ( exam closely to the picture you will know what i mean) when i push it to my hat visor it will slightly push the clip out a bit ( which is bad due to design / material ) i wish it more stable when i clip on, but for now it will work for my purpose. the brightness is decent to use in the dark while fishing.I only wish the little pattern on the flashlight body is horizontal instead of parallel to the body , that way u can get more grip, as it runing along the flashlight, you will have less grip on it while holidng on clipping on.

I think the picture was intentionally misleading. The Nebo ...
I think the picture was intentionally misleading. The Nebo lights I have are slightly shorter and same diameter.I think this photo either shows an inordinately large hand, or it was photo shopped.Light works OK, but there is a red halo that is particularly bothersome.

This is nice, small
I buy a lot of flashlights from Amazon to use around the house, keep in our cars and for hunting. This is nice, small, lightweight and bright. Good choice if you like clipping a light on your hat. Cranks out a lot more light with the included battery than with a AA's. In the picture, for size comparison, the small one on the right is heavier and the clip is mounted in the opposite direction so it can't be used on a hat.

Amazingly bright, even on just an alkaline AA battery.
The red is actually pink. The output is not 600 Lumens, but probably still in the range of 300 to 400.Without knowing the test conditions used, it is hard to test these with the calibrated light meter at work and come up with a meaningful number. The battery indicates 1200 mAh, but tested at an average of 346 mAh over 3 cycles. It is still enough to keep the light lit long enough that i haven't had to charge it after regular use yet. When you click the switch to turn it on, it always comes up in the next mode, this is a bit annoying as after the low setting it always goes to strobe.
